Default SPF: Lapua 7.62X39 (M43) ammo - 1500rds! DFW TX

SPF

This is one crate (50-30rd boxes=1500rds) of Lapua M43 7.62X39 FMJ, brass cased, berdan primed, non-corrosive ammo. Lapua makes the BEST ammo currently available in FMJ in this chambering. It will shoot sub-MOA groups (best I've seen is .58" from a bolt gun at 100yrds). Better than ANY US manufacturer and the Finnish Lapua is second to none...$1000 or entertaining trades FTF in DFW area or ship at actual cost.

$1000 for 1500 rounds, am I missing something here?

Hmmm, I guess you are...since it's better (more accurate) than any commercial FMJ ammo sold by Winchester, Remington or any other US maker...

It's probably the best ammo ever produced in that caliber, hard to get now, collectable, yadda yadda yadda. I haven't seen it offered for sale in years.

Default ammo

If it was 7.62x 54R then I'd say yeah, but not for AK ammo. I just don't expect that much more accuracy from this ammo out of the stuff I would shoot it from. if that makes any sense.... for AK ammo I'd rather spend that on plain old Tula and get 5000rds. but that is just me.

I agree except if it was reloadable. Lapua brass is probably the finest out there and u could get between 10-15 reloads each case. That changes the cost considerably.

Thread stomping is alive and well I see...no one said you had you shoot this from your AK but if you want the most accurate ammo available then you could or thru any other 7.62X39 chambered rifle....

You say this is the most accurate ammo, but do you have results to compare to? Just curious.

I have shot Chinese, Barnaul, Wolf (just about every Russian variation there is), Bulgarian, Hornady, Remington, Winchester , Hansen & Sako plus I'm sure others I'm forgetting about and this outshot them all...Lapua is the bomb

Not trying to piss in your cornflakes, but besides AK's and VZ58's and SKS's there is not too much else out there that shoots 7.62x39 Those rifles are all designed to shoot quantity, not quality. I'm not saying its not good ammo, but pretty much everything that could shoot it is not going to turn into a tack driver because of this ammo.

Dapenko: Good luck. Ignore all these morons and you'll get a taker. Probably not quite at that price, but I wouldn't ask much less.

Just 'cause y'all don't care if this makes your AK more accurate don't mean someone else wouldn't Don't go bashing his thread just because his opinion and yours aren't the same.

Thanks..I've already sold 1 crate so I'm not worried. If it doesn't sell it will be worth even more a cpl years from now and be even scarcer

There are severla 762.39 Sniper formats out there; Tabuk DMR's, Romy DMR's, etc. good ammo for those would be a necessity.

Berdan 7.62x39 reloads just fine, it just takes special tooling to decap, either hydraulically or with one of several hook-like devices. The most common device used for decapping is the RCBS tool:

The primers are even available right now, but might not be for too long:

Default 7.62 X 39 Lapua

Go to the Midway site and look for Lapua in 7.62 X 39. 100rds. of brass cases run $58.21 or .58 cents each.

30 rounds of 7.62 X 39 is selling for $44.00 and it is out of stock.

This is a good deal for the best AK ammo in the world. Just look at what domestic ammo is selling for these days. N**** please! And this isn't target practice ammo. This is SHTF stuff that the first 1500 sorry MF'ers are going to run into when they come for your shit! And if that doesn't happen, well, you've got some very valuable ammo on your hands don't you? Enough said....
