Why are Draco's so much cheaper than Krinkov. They pretty much look a like?

One word "Romanian" not lacking in function just cosmetics are not there, yet you can dress them up and they can fetch $800.00 +, especially now that they are scarce.

They are AFAIK the only AK pistol imported factory assembled.

I have a Romanian AK 47 and love it but must admit I have not ever shot a Bulgarian, Yugo or the Russian.

Also I forgot to mention that a Hungarian AMD 65 is basically a AK pistol with a barrel extension and a wire side folder stock, and look much better than a Draco.

A little cheaper here

Yea people are going for the next best thing in a hurry, it is starting to look like if you or any one wanted a AK pistol or the next best thing "you are late for the party".

Then again you can try to build your own , and keep it as short as you want it to be. There are people out there that have built AK pistols using the demilled barrel stubs.

Which AK kit resembles the AK Pistol. I have done the research on the Barrel cut, Piston cut, furiture, gas port tube cut etc. With that said which AK kit will be the easiest to modify?

There are no size restrictions on pistols.

You can have a .5" barrel on your AK pistol if you can find one . .

I kept asking about building a Krinkov last night and today and almost every body kept saying just buy a Draco or an AK Pistol. Ironically I have a guy that lives with in 20 miles that has a build license and has built 1000 and emailed him. Saw him on Gunbroker and ask him if I could be a nuisance and picked his brain and he said bring it on.

Hungarian AK47 AMMS underfolding parts kit with correct Nodak Spud receiver
I didn't know Harlan was from Hungry I thought he lived near potato country hince Nodak Sud.

No on Gunbroker.com
That one says call for price. If you are too embarrased to post price I don't think I will be buzzing you.

I have a AK barrel, receiver, piston, gas tube, pretty much everything I have had around a while and I can find somebody to do the sizing/cutting or I can wait for Atlantic to come out with their Krinkov which is supposed to be anyday.

None of them are easy, this is why the builders charge their prices. Not to discourage you, just the truth. You have to see what you want to build with what you have that you will feel good (like it) after it is done.

In my case I have shot a AK 74 pistol in the past and loved it, yet the workmanship was lacking to my taste and the price it cost me including shipping.

So I figure I could do better and save money and I did, about $100.00.

Go ahead and google AK pistol then hit on "images" see if anything out there that you like and uses some or all of the parts you have, print the picture and take it to a builder and ask for a quote.

Most krink kits out there are $600.00+ before receiver and assembly, factor in which one you like the most and what savings if any.

I am currently waiting on a Kvar imported Arsenal pistol SLR 106 57 in 5.56x45 @ $820.00 after shipping, I figure it is an awesome deal even with is discrepancies (barrel fake muzzle device and 5.56 caliber).
