We aren't going to be able to make it today fellas. We had vehicle issues on the way home last night and Bob, the savior of the universe, was able to give us a ride into Houston were we had Kaethias wife come pick us up.

On top of having to help Kaethias with that today, he's just still feeling like ass with his kidneys giving him fits. He really shouldn't of been there yesterday even.

Matt, don't worry about refunding money. You guys have put a ton of time and work into this and I'm sure have spent more than you've received, so please keep the money.

I wish we could be there the rest of the time but sometimes shit just happens. You boys light em up today.

I had an excellent time these past three days. Got in a lot of good shooting on some challenging and well designed stages, and to see people I don't get to see but every few months.

Yes indeed! This was the best shoot yet. Big thank you to sdw2008 for organizing the AKFILES shoots. And another big thank you to all the AKfilers and corporate sponsors that contributed prizes.

And thank you USMCLAV and Big Piney Sportsmen's Club for hosting this thing.

What a great weekend!!! Well worth the drive!

You could not ask for a better group of guys (and girl).

The stories these guys tell had me in stitches. I haven't laughed so hard
in quite some time!

Bob and Robert are incredible hosts and equally incredible shooters.
Cannot thank Big Piney Sportsman's Club enough for their hospitality!

And my hat is off to sdw2008 for getting this thing organized and keeping us on track to get the most out of this shoot!

If you weren't there you missed out...be there next year!

One more thing, the prize table was incredible, a big thank you to all that contributed!

This was easily the best shoot yet, largely in part to the dedication of BGA. No one can say thanks enough for the amount of work going into this event, then longshot taking lead onshirts and banners and everyone who was basically a dedicated RO. Everyone doing their part to do and help as much as possible helped make it a huge success.

However...you sickos...I now have krebs. Doctor said to shave and use a special soap but I think I’d rather keep em

I got a call from Mark Krebs today and talked about the Yugo handguard for a little bit. There are 2 adapters for the Yugos, one for Npaps with 1mm receivers and another for RPK 1.5mm. He is sending me the Opap adapter for my M77 tomorrow first thing. Thank you Mark.

And the PA 1-8 will find a good home on the AUG, love that chevron in the ACSS.

In other news, don’t feed the Yao Gui

I’m back home safely to the Texas summer.

Thanks again to Matt, BPSC and our sponsors for putting that together.

I had a blast catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new ones.

Yeah I won ithe mag trophy, it will go to good use....It looks great, very clean paint lines/workmanship. That is the only trophy I have ever won so I will cherish it. Matt and the RO's did a damn good job organizing the event, sorting out the logistics and most importantly keeping us all safe.

It was an honor to shoot with you guys and I can't wait to get back there and do it again. The sponsors were very generous and the Big Piney Sportsmans club facility was excellent.

Happy to hear that everyone made it home safe!

That was a great time.......especially for 75gmAbody!!!! He shot extremely well and earned every one of those prizes. There was some great shooting out there. The matches were tough and complex but I think there was something for everyone out there. I hope everyone felt like they were challenged. I know I did. I am already thinking about the matches for the winter shoot and 2019 Nationals!

I'll have the scores, prizes and pics up in the next day or 2 and will start working on the recap video asap!

Can't wait to get the video up. On the long-distance match, I was zoomed in all the way on the targets and you can see the rounds going in. I think the rain/humidity definitely helped too. It's really cool.

Hey Stuntbutt,
What is that fiber optic red dot you have, that is light activated? The one you covered with tape? I need that.

That was a Trijicon ACOG if you are speaking of the one on his 5.45.

So we may be getting a highlight reel tonight? Or do we need to take a cold shower? Rock hard waiting for the highlights

Ha! It's going to be a minute before I can go through everything and get something up. I need to get the pics up first.

Yup. That one. To quote Liam Neeson... " I will find you, and I WILL buy you..."

Thanks for having "a very particular skill set" Z. That 6.5 Creedmore is AWESOME.

His ACOG is small, I believe it is a compact model. Bob and I would like to thank everyone for their yearly contribution of brass to help our reloading habit. For an AK shoot, I found a suspiciously large amount of .223 cases, which I will put to good use. Boone, the cases fired in your AUG resized without issue on my Dillon.

Good to hear, I know they did get stretched a bit but if you can put em back to good use that’s good news

Thanks.

It probly wernt any of my .223 cases you found. Dang Yugo flips them into the next county... No worries, I got plenty. If you do find em, they've been reloaded four or five times already.
