PALADIN PRESS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS - EVERYTHING ON SALE (I.E. RAGNAR BENSON)

http://www.paladin-press.com/category/Ragnar_Benson

Snippit:

At the end of the year, Paladin Press will be going out of business. There will be no more books or videos sold after November 29, 2017. We are incredibly grateful to all of our amazing customers and authors for their continued loyalty and support over the decades. Please continue to check Paladin’s Facebook, Twitter, and website pages for more information about the closure and the deep discounts on our current inventory. But remember: supplies are limited. Buy these Paladin books and videos while you still can.

Black Blade: Must be tough for "print" media these days. A good time to fill the library with prepper-survivalist literature.

Owner Peder Lund died in June and I guess his estate is liquidating. His former partner Robert K. Brown went on to establish Soldier Of Fortune magazine in 1975 so no one left to run the business and maybe no takers for a buy out.

I bought my first book from them forty years ago and still have it. The first book that started the company was "150 Questions for a Guerrilla" which Brown secured the rights to as far back as 1966 if memory serves me correct. I can not imagine not possessing the knowledge available in that book. I bought $370 worth of books for $123 last night. That is Christmas to me!

Boy! I remember getting Paladin Press, Loompanics catalogs and always marking off what I wanted to buy. I was just a kid then and didn't really have any cash for most of it, but it was always interesting to look through those catalogs.

I think I may order a few titles for nostalgia sake. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah I need to check it out too before they are gone. I loved looking at those catalogs as a little kid in the 70s.

"150 Questions for a Guerrilla" ....I still have my copy. Bought it so far back I must have been 17 years old when I got it.

I have studied guerrilla warfare ever since.

That book made me smart enough to NOT go to the war in Vietnam. Recruiter said he could sent me to Vietnam in the infantry. I told him...he could not, and left.

If he had gave me helicopter training...I would have gone.

Everything in print can be found online. Paper books are obsolete. Just because big brother is watching everything, your google search is just as much out on the radar as is the books you buy.

It is not about that for most, but most like books in print like me. WTF are you going to do when you have no electricity?
