Default AK Pistol with “standard” rear trunnion..

Ok, so someone educate me real quick..

AK pistol build. I’m going to put a blade brace on it until my stamp comes back.

Am I opening myself to issues with a fixed stock rear trunnion? Apparently the IO Nano ships this way.

Reason I ask, the AR pistols I’ve built can all with the twist of a wrench turn into a rifle within seconds and the BATFE accepts this. All it takes is the swap of a buffer tube and it’s “stock ready.”

Anyone have an opinion?

"Opinion"?

We have the law.

The law says that you can't have a stock on a handgun ( unless you've got a permission slip, but then it's not legally a handgun at that point any more, is it? )

Thousands of AK "pistols" are out there with standard stock tangs. This is how the "OG" AK "pistols" were made ( parts kit build on virgin receiver without a stock - described & sold as a "pistol" by the manufacturer )

"Opinions" can get you thrown into a PMITA prison.

Sounds like law supports a standard stock tang.

Thanks, Nails.
