Keep checking my email thinking any day now. Looks like I'm probably a couple of weeks out judging by Larryphoto.

Looks like June 26 for me if 90 days is the mark. Oh the anticipation. Got the receiver engraved. Refinished the wood handguards with some amber shellac. Picked up a hacksaw, valve grinding compound, washer, file, and cold blue. Can't fucking wait!!!!

Six months easily. Probably more due to the preponderance of Efile and the fact you will have to do CLEO and that is researched when submitted. CLEO does you no favors.

I know what your saying. The only reason I asked was Tim at Military Arms did an individual/no trust and received it in 30 days, but that was at the beginning of the year.

Thanks Paul for the link. I'm not sure that site is reliable. One guy filed an individual for an sbr on 6/13, shows pending 6/13 also but other guys are waiting 6mo. ?
I may have read it wrong, I'm using my phone! It's a lot of info for a small screen.

FYI at the beginning of 2015, 28-30 days was the normal turn around. Then the SIG brace thing......
Yeah, that damn Sig brace, Thanks for reminding me ddnc! LOL
ddnc I'm still wrestling with how to file, if I go to a lawyer around my area
it's $6-700 for a trust. If I only get one sbr out of it by the end of the year it's just not worth it. My CLEO will sign but it's just a long ass wait. I'm not sure if my ADD will hold out that long. LOL

It does not need to be a local attorney. I bet you could get it done for less than half that by an out of state one.

I used Dean Phillips. Spoke with him on the phone for about 15 minutes. He answers emails same day. $99.

So fun story... I just checked my status on the eforms page and it had stated 3/19/2015 for the submitted and the created date. Today the submitted date is blank.

Being a law abiding citizen gets more retarded every day.

Yeah...a hacksaw seems a better investment, and less hassle.

On that note my trust came through today...woohoo!

It states I have $10 in the trust already? Still haven't read the directions, just checked it for spelling....like I'm qualified to do that! LOL

That's just a placeholder on the Schedule A to show the trust has holdings. Mine was $100. Just leave it there.

It is down every Wednesday for maintenance. Probably just an extended time. It's up again so I guess the ATF isn't trashing every NFA application in preparation for Jade Helm 15...

You guys need to learn some patience...

6-7 months was the norm when I filled my first paper for a few years ago.

It took me 4 months on a paper form 4 this year.

It will come. M'Kay?

And that's the real bitch right there!
You can go out today and apply for a $40,000 car loan and get an approval in 15 min. Or less.
Walk into a gun store and buy a rifle/pistol with a NICS check and be done in 15 min. Or less.
15 min. Could save you 15% on car insurance.

Tax stamp shouldn't take 6-7 mo. ....No excuse for it.

What's even worse is that it is a tax you are paying to remove a couple inches from a barrel on a firearm you already own and filled out a 4473 that must pass a NICS check, in most cases. After one being approved (background check and trust approval) the subsequent applications with payment should be immediate.
How many other taxes do you pay on a product that is not immediately granted?
Do you have to wait six months to get a pack of smokes or a bottle of whiskey after you buy it?

I never thought of it that way but your right!
It just proves the point that the NFA is archaic, it's outlived its useless life.

Dash board shows my forms again...
Speaking of waiting, I filed form 4 for the MG42 we bought from an estate on Feb.19. My dash board shows it was approved on May 19, but I have yet to get the physical stamp in my hand yet... We took possession of the gun the day we bought it in Feb. but it would be nice to have the damn stamp..

Alright so I submitted two on 3/25. I got an approval email on the Draco today but nothing on the AR15. If I look on the ATF website, both forms are now listed in the approved category. I'm thinking I'll get the other approval email tomorrow or next day.

Probably take me a few days to get around to the conversions.

Yeah I'm confused. My form states "approved 6/22" but I haven't gotten an email and when I view the form is has the "draft" watermark. Damn I wish this was not such a pain in the ass.
