Default Bulgarian 4pc questions

Looking to add a 4pc to my Pap M92. Are CNC , US Machinegun and AK Builder the only games in town? Any other manufacturers make the 26 x 1.5 LH? Any differences in quality between these three companies? Thx for the input.

When I was researching I went with the AKbuilder. The detent cutouts, from what i remember reading, were sometimes out of spec on the CNC

I bought the CNC 4 pc . Excellent product that pretty much eliminated fireballs for m92 & m85. Also reduced some noise and pushes the report further down range. Money well spent. Just make sure you have a detent pin. Some paps have them some don't.

Does not reduce noise, unless you pay the man.

My Draco "seems" a lot quieter with the 4 piece over the flash hider it came with. The 4 piece directs the sound away from the shooter so it seems quieter

That’s the right idea. The report is the same, it is just not as noticeable to the shooter. I’m assuming these devices direct the noise downrange more effectively.

Yes, the 4pc basically redirects the blast forward.

Best for the shooter. Also good for friendly people to either side or behind them.

OP, I have used 4pc's for Bulgarian 24mm from AKB and CNC warrior. I will say that my experience is they are just about identical and work.

I've got the CNC 4 piece on my M92 and it's awesome. Zero flash, less blast for the shooter, very happy with it.

Unless your heart is absolutely set on the 4-piece (which is a seriously heavy hunk of metal), I'd give the Manticore Eclipse a look. A lot lighter and actually works better as a flash hider.

He doesn't test the Eclipse here, but does the CNCW Bulgarian 4Pc.
I'd say it would be hard to beat.

The Manticore Nightbrake, shown in the video above, is a muzzle brake, not a flash suppressor, anyway. Manticore did make a Night Shroud flash hider, which was superseded by the Eclipse a year or two ago.

I'm just going from personal experience on a Mini Draco shooting pretty flashy Tula SPs in the pitch dark along with other less flashy loads, comparing the Eclipse to the CNC 4 piece.

The CNC 4 piece works well for sure, and it certainly "looks" bad ass, but it's a big, heavy chunk of metal.

But, in my experience, testing the two head to head, the Eclipse just worked a bit better to suppress the flash, and is much lighter (and cheaper).

I did not notice any "pinging" effect, but YMMV:
