Looks like we are all buying pistols lately. I technically bought two if you consider an AR lower I made into a pistol. There are lots of deals out right now for both new and used. Seems like local guys are following the market and ARs are being posted up for peanuts. Pretty tempting to jump on a decent AR that some guy bought thinking the world was about to end and now wants $200 under what he paid. Which is about the new price I suppose.

Got a fnh 45 tactical and a CZ SP01. The trigger on the sp01 is really nice, can't wait to shoot it. Never had a pistol that felt this right in the hand right off the bat. I like it enough that I'm contemplating putting all Cajun parts in it and buying a p01 compact, or going for a shadow2.

Cool Backup Guns

Found out recently Ruger seems to have discontinued the LC9s Pro?!?
It's my most carried pocket gun.
So I ordered and received a backup identical twin a few days ago...

Got a goofy Taurus polymer protector in .357 for dirt cheap $200 and a Nos Arcus 94 that Robertson trading post had dug up. $319 for the Arcus.

Ran the Taurus pretty hard over Christmas break. I think we put about 250 rounds of 158gr over 5.0gr of Autocomp through it in 8deg weather. Ran very well.

I saw these Arcus 94s years ago for dirt cheap and told myself if they ever came back nos I was getting one. Luckily Andy from Robertson trading post let me know they had a few. Now I need a Kareen to go along with it.

The feg hp clones are nice as well. Lucked out with one of those for $200 at a fun show 2 years ago. It's a very nice shooter.

Last week I finally shelled out for a Walther PPQ M2 .45. As soon as my niece reaches 21 in a month, and has her CC, I will be handing her money for purchasing her own weapon.

I'm really digging the fnx .45. I've been thinking about getting one in FDE for home defense. I am looking at the standard version however not the tactical since I don't own any cans. 15+1 of .45 is badass for home defense. Maybe put some 230+p Gold dots in it. Was thinking about going with a metal frame but I can't find one that has all the features the FNX does.

I bought the FNX specifically as a suppressor host. I had fondled a few at gun stores over the years but I didnít love them enough to shell out the $1,100+ they always seemed to be going for. Well a week or 2 ago they popped up at gun prime for $868, FN happened to be running a rebate for a free vortex Venom with purchase also. Figure Iíll sell the Venom for $200 & thatíll leave me in the FNX for a little over $700 shipped & transferred. Couldnít pass that up.

The Sig under it is quickly becoming my personal favorite pistol. I havenít shot it much but it just fits me. Itís almost as though I donít even have to aim it, just point & squeeze & it hits right where I want.

Picked up a M9 commercial model for $590 total from the LGS about 2 or so weeks ago, also picked up a safari land 578 GLS pro fit holster and a USGI nylon lanyard same day so I think it was pretty good, haven't had the pistol out to the range yet due to weather, but I'll be getting to it eventually.
