Default Leather romanian mosin sling

I bought a russian m44 a couple yrs back and it had a leather dog collar sling on it. I think it is romanian. I put a proper russisn sling on it, and am considering selling the rommy. Apparently they are pretty hard to find. Does anyone know the value of them? Thank u.

Are you sure it's a Romanian mosin sling and not a German mosin sling or Romanian sks sling?

Can you post pics?

Value would be $40-60

Hard to tell in that pic but it looks like a Bulgarian sling vs Romanian.
The sling has the large dog collars vs the shorter Romanian type and the unique termination of the sling at the loop..

Pic of a worn Romanian M44 sling.

I have a newer one as well but no pic handy.

Bulgarian sling

What they list as a Romanian M44 sling is actually a Romanian SKSsling>

The profile of the OP's sling is not the M44 pattern.
The Romanian M44 sling is like the Russian pattern sling but in maroon leather. At least. In the pic shown.

The Romanian SKS pattern has the strap loop for the forend sling loop of the SKS of course.

Looks like one of those odd slings I see all over eBay from Bulgaria. Prices range from $30-40
