I took the plunge on a M72 kit, however I was hoping for the blonde furniture and got some which is pretty dark brown. Does anyone know of this much color will come out with cleaning? I suspect Iíll be on the market place looking for another one.

I had to like it on my wife's Facebook as I don't have one, but it would be awesome if the board got us there soon. A new ARM kit with wooden handguards is calling my name.

If you guys choose replacement buttstocks, Two Rivers Arms has stamps of the correct height and font to match the original Zastava script.

I had them force-mark a M76 buttstock after I carefully sanded away the original number. The price was very reasonable.

Numrich always has a very large presence at Knob Creek. I wonder if they will bring any of these. Yeah, like I need another one.

Bought 3 of the m72b1 kits, first was pristine and practically unfired, blonde wood, 95%+ bluing, second was used, hard, dark wood, dents, finish worn bare, flipped it for a little profit and ordered a 3rd hoping it was like the first.

First kit after clean and most of the demill, and I hit the wood with some acetone after sweating all the cosmo out in the oven, need to put on a finish.

second kit, didn't even want to bother with cleaning the cosmo off, so I flipped it.
it was parts matching and only missing the barrel nut, so i didn't want to bother numrich with an exchange, it was a good kit, i was just dissapointed after how nice the first one was.

so I flipped it for a little profit, spent that money on a third kit, waiting to see how that one is.

I'm hoping they'll put these m72 kits on sale again for the creek. I'd certainly pick up one or two if they had them there.

Those kits were, for the most part, awesome. One of the kits I got had pretty decent looking blondish furniture and another had a really cool contrasting grain pattern. One of the kits that I got had some wood that wasn't that nice looking. It was different colors and the kit itself was one of the older models, judging by the look of the front trunnion. I ended up sanding it down, staining the wood, and then hitting it with some poly.

Numrich brings a number of the M64, M70 ad M72 kits to Knob Creek every year. I have purchased several there. Generally if I haggle I can get two kits for $450. Not the greatest but not bad to look over and hand pick what you choose. They are all cosmo an in bags so bring a rag or two.
They have more on the truck if you ask to see more kits.

I didn't want to say anything till my order processed and shipped and I knew
it would go thru.

Numrich sent out an email Thursday... "Maximize Your Refund 30% off Mosin Nagant"

With a one time use code, also the sale is free shipping on $75 or more purchase.

I used this code on one of the matching Yugo M72 kits regularly $249.99

My total at checkout was $179.96

If you got one of those emails I will guess it will work on a lot more than
just Mosin Nagant.

Good Luck !

Its works, damn you!

I just ordered 3, $539 shipped!

It's 30% AND free shipping (only the $5 add on shipping charge).

The code doesn't show the discount until you go to checkout.
