Yes they are, trunnions are marked correctly.

Also, there are at least 2 matching kits.

I find it weird how Classic's listing clearly defines them as being M72B1 rifles. I don't see M72AB1 anywhere in their listing.

So they do have the removable bipod?

Yes, they have the bipod and apparently there are some with m72b1 marked trunnions as well as some with m72ab1 marked trunnions...It's really kind of odd--I thought the m72ab1 kits that came in a while back were mismatched and in sort of rough shape. Is it possible that they're marking blank trunnions from m72b1 kits? I really wish more of the people who have bought these would post some detailed photos.

There have been very few of these offered for sale. When I spoke with JRA they said only 20 were built for the second batch. I dont know how many were initially sold, but considering how fast they sold out I doubt even that many.

With that said I really don't think they would bother stamping some of the trunnions and not others for only a couple guns. Classic bought a large amount of kits and said that a very small amount of these were mixed in. I'll believe that for now. Especially considering how difficult a couple of the parts are to obtain.

True, but how do you explain the m72b1 marked trunnion with the m72ab1 type bipod and UF stock. I mean, I'm sure it's possible the kits could have gotten mixed up, but it really does seem odd. To be honest, I was kind of hoping that there were some new bipod assemblies trickling in lol

Not all of the guns reported have been marked m72b1, some have been m72ab1.

Yes, I'm aware, guess I just worded that poorly. I'm just wondering if it's possible they may have had a few legitimate ab1 kits and also be creating some of their own with the m72b1 kits and bipod/uf assemblies. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it is a possibility. If the b1 marked its are just a fluke due to accidentally mixing up ab1 parts with b1 parts, some poor SOB is gonna get a bastardized ab1 that's missing the bipod lol. Didn't they also have some of the 16" model without the bipod, but with the UF stock? That might lend some credence to the theory that at least some of these are cobbled together vs. being original m72ab1 kits..

Sold out. Oh well, paying a premium for a detachable bipod is pretty meh. Most guns already have one lol. I would prefer a kit to a built gun anyway, but apparently d-head is the only one around with any....as he repeatedly reminds us that he...enjoys...them daily

Got one with a correct M72AB1 front trunnion. The rest of the gun is matching, but does not match the trunnion, however the serial on the other parts is within the known AB1 serial range. Quality of the build seems very, very nice to me, but perhaps someone that has more build experience, such as TheGreek! can comment on the rivets, etc.

Was finally able to get to the shop today and pick mine up. Correct M72AB1 Trunnion as well. Numbers matching except for the trunnion. The underfolding stock is a little loose but otherwise the build quality looks good to me. I’ll try to get some pictures posted soon.

I got notification this morning (sent around 5:30AM) that these are back in stock at Classic. I ordered one at 8AM. Hard to tell how many they got, but probably not many. I was just able to place 7 in my cart, but not 8, so it appears that as of this moment there are 7 left.

Be nice if they used a quality US barrel like Green Mountain, very happy with their products.

What is the price that classic charge for these? Is it still $899?

Yep, I've thought hard about it the last two times they've restocked, but I just couldn't justify paying a several hundred dollar premium for the detachable bipod (as compared to building one with the kits/stocks I already have on hand). Still...tempting...

Still showed OOS when I looked again. Maybe they had a cancelled order and had one returned to stock? Or sweaty Ben "found" another "back in the warehouse"?

I think your confused with another gun, I don't believe Atlantic has ever had any. JRA has stated that Classic purchased the parts kits and commissioned JRA to build these. JRA had not sold any of these directly or to another reseller.
