He actually puts the blame on Century for the tooling marks on the bolt and accuses them of using worn tooling. He even praises Uli for his brand new equipment. Why do people insist on pretending to be an authority on topics in which they are completely ignorant?

Funny how most of what he's comparing in the beginning has no bearing on what matters for the AK.

To get in on that youtube money, He's even set up his panhandling account with patreon.

he's ready to go.

The guy who did the video is I.O.s target audience, clearly. Anyone who actually knows a thing or two about AK's knows to not even consider I.O. "rifles" as AK's, but rather pieces of oreo cookies that vaguely resemble a Kalashnikov pattern rifle.

Also because of it being "100% 'Murican made" and "Dirt cheap, like AK's should be", thats why I.O. rifles have a stupidly high number of sales despite being horrifically inferior to just about everything else, Including the RAS 47 and the C39v2, which as bad as those are, are absolutely better rifles (And that's saying a lot).

Even that goofy video reveals that the IO is a piece of crap, and also that the reviewer is clueless about AKs.

A good number of the people who get in i.o's and other failed ak's don't do the proper research when they buy anything. Their gunshop's advice is good enough for them.

They're selling very well in my area and I often see folks with happy faces clutching a box with a new IO or RAS47 in it and carrying it to their car or truck.

IO or RAS47 are what's on the gun shop walls around here, and on the gun show tables, and there used to be WASR, OPAP, NPAP, and Arsenal.

Last big gun show I attended, there were only IO and Century RAS47 and a small handful of C39V2 for sale.

Not even one single WASR in the place.

I went "Oh Sh!t" with the collectible part. Think about it, it might be a good idea if anyone mistakenly bought the IO, just store it away as a collectible piece for safety reason. LoL.

The only way an I.O. rifle will EVER be collectible is when I.O. shuts down and all the rifles in active use start blowing up one by one until only those collecting dust at retailers and people who bought them and never used them remain.

Even then they probably won't be more expensive than the RAS 47 and C39v2.

Stopped in at three local shops today. Only things in stock we're I.O, and RAS 47. All the counter guys were raving about how great these U.S. made AK's were. Not a clue. Asked one guy if they had a WASR in stock. His answer was what's that. Yikes.

Accurate description of North Texas gun shows, the majority of pawn shops, & gun stores. The imports are starting to thin out boys

I’ve picked up a SAR1, 2 SAR2s, and a Bulgarian milled underfolder in the past 5 months for this very reason. I too only see the IOs and the Century RAS guns locally.

WASR hands down. With the issues that Arsenal are currently having with their Bulgarian supplier right now - I'd put a WAR 10 ahead of the SLR107-11.
