I bought a TP9DA and when I went to the FFL to pick it up, he had this on consignment. Got it for $250 OTD w/72 rounds of surplus 7.62x25. Really amazed at the quality of this "cheap" gun. Fit and finish is superb!

I think that's a pretty solid deal with all the goodies to go with it. Surplus/surplus style remakes aren't really all that cheap, but they are fun and they have a pretty cool amount of do dads that can be collected. That makes them pretty fun in my book. Plus the tok is just a pretty cool pistol.

Are the Romanian and Serbian Tokarevs the same? I thought it was only the M57 that came with the longer frame/mag and had the slide safety?
The Romanian Tokarev pictured in the OP has a frame safety behind the trigger. Not all Tokarevs are the same, but all are cool and have unique flavors to them. |

I've been thinking about picking up an M57 at Classic with the new trigger safety. Also a clean looking pistol like the Romanian Tok compared to the ones that have the slide safety. |

That's a sharp looking Tokarev OP. Good deal.
I have a 9mm barrel for mine so in either caliber it usually tags along on most range trips. |
