Default Soviet Tokarev

Bought a tok from a friend in the club

I don't buy the story behind the ID and dog tags and all coming from Vietnam but I paid a fair price for the pistol

Gun not the story

But cool to have a real soviet Tokarev

Part of my ban time purchases

Nice score. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

ID is for a reserve officer, not active duty. Belt is for enlisted/NCO, not officer.

Needs re-bluing and clean up, unless of course you like that untouched or well used look, some do. Me Umm I get it, but I like the nice klean weapon look, but we are all different. What's the condition of the barrel like ?
If it's fully functional, good working order, and has no safety, also, can't see any import markings; in the US that could go now for well over a 1000$, maybe 2K if you'r lucky, that's my best guess. Prices for good original Russian's, reblued or not, are now rapidly increasing as they are getting quite scarce now, and of course there popularity is getting a boost lately due to films and other publicity. Still a hell of a powerful weapon, I love my one for sure and won't get rid of it.

Nice gun, bogus story. I had a Chinese M20 Tokarev with a VC holster and belt and bring back papers that I bought from the Vet that was named on the papers and I got his story, wish that I kept that one.

What is the fascination with re bluing old service weapons? Reblue that and you will destroy 50-75% of its value. Good non hosed up military firearms are only going up in value.

Also, I've gotten out of the habit of saying what I pay for stuff but it was a lower three digit number
