Thank you for the headsup but YOWZER, these things are getting up there.

$320 + $20 for hand select.

Sweet for those who already have one or two!

I've been looking for one for a while now. I guess they're getting harder to find. I wanted an 82 because of the 9x18 round.

I used to buy them in multiples (from J&G, Classic, SOG, etc.). Prices have almost doubled on these and others like the Maks and P-64. The glory days of cheap Combloc C&R are long gone unfortunately.

Come now, they had to have at least 10 to charge for the hand pick...so they probably had 11.

That's why I bought one when I had the chance. Walther PPs are way out of my price range.

IIRC, mine has the import mark on the bottom of the slide where you can't see it.

My thoughts exactly. I have one that is all beat up that stays in my tool bucket. It's been in there for at least 5 years. I shoot, clean and lube it once a month. That billboard is huge. Now that they are selling for $300, i might refinish it and take it out of the bucket. But what would i replace it with that is cheap and reliable? Tokarev maybe?

Dang cuz, most gun people have never heard of the 82 and those who have could not care less. How do they disappear so quickly? Are we going to see a flood on gunbroker in a few months?

You will be happy. They are reliable and shoot accurate like a laser beam. I have an 82 & an 83. Both are 100% reliable and eat anything i feed them. The 82 i got when they were cheap. I liked it enough to pony up and buy a nickel plated 83 when i saw one in a gun shop. The finish on the 82 is it's only real weak point.

They are getting hard to find. I've been looking for quite a while now. This is the first one I've run across so I figured I might as well grab it.

But they are still there. Its like a pretty girl with a huge hairy mole on her face. You can put makeup over it but at the end of the day it's still there.

I, the student, am humbled yet again.

I am envious of your living in Yellowstone. I couldn't imagine being so close to such a majestic place. I was in Jackson and saw some of Yellowstone a few years ago. It's like another world.

I had one for about a week or so. Got it in trade. Hated the thing (and I like Glocks). Too low round count for the size of the gun and weight of it. I switched to Kahr who seems to have nailed the size/weight/capacity thing on single stack 9's. And that trigger is oh so sweet too.
