damn..

just damn.

- hopefully No one is actually following their methods as an actual build tutorial..

I wonder how criss-crossed out of plane the FCG pins holes were when they punched the locations using the craptastic transfer template from Both sides
(I stopped watching the 1st vid at that point, so I didn't see how they actually drilled them)

I'm not sure where the receiver is from but if you can tap it with a transfer punch and the metal dents in like this one did......then it's not heat treated or treated properly.

I noticed that too.

Before i got a drilling jig, I used the Childer's layout guides on their heat treated blanks.
They barely made a mark with the transfer punch.
I'd have to follow up with a center punch.

Will this method work ? Yea but so would a rock. I would never build a AK like this. If I was strung out on meth or stranded on a remote island maybe. Just using a transfer punch for the jig makes me feel funny.

The YouTube Channel = FAIL
The website = FAIL

I couldn't watch complete videos, did they name any brand names of parts/tools they sell?
if they didn't, it seems they want consumers to believe its their "GG" brand.... FAIL

yeah "tap" with a punch is right..

- their "work bench" seemed pretty rickety like a rubermaid folding table

I could see the dents in the receiver in the video.

I think they mentioned it was a polish blank in the vid. Untreated, I'm sure. lots of ripples in the sides. I like how the first guy with the non-dexterous hands gave the assistant holding the table still, the job of installing the hammer and spring. LOL.

I made a ghost shit before, one wipe and there was nothing there. How eerie.
