I like the fact that the Unicorn stickers outlasted the ras47.

Can you elaborate further into that? I was sort of surprised to see these come with a cast gas block when I picked mine up even though that is the norm with current production AKM's.

Thanks!
I thought this maybe little bit of rust, but this was just mud - i brushed it off with toothbrush.

That answer lies with a call to their customer service to inquire.....

But until they do, there's always the WASR / RH10 / M10 options for less

Atlantic & AOA continue to work with both WBP & FB Radom to increase the selection of Polish AK-47 goodness arriving on our shores .

Well, hell, I thought everybody on this board knew by now that Arsenal out in the Las Vegas area overprices their rifles $200-300 or so.

How do you expect them to pay for their gambling debts and hookers?

Was not always that way but in the last few years Arsenal decided to start raising prices and buyer demand DID NOT drop off so.....

Actually I believe buyer demand actually INCREASED as prices increased as buyers thought "Damn, I had better buy now before the NEXT price increase is put into effect."

Rob Ski

With TULA ammo , what was the final MOA after 5,000 rounds ???

I'm just curious if we can get some data on this like the Paratrooper that was claiming 7 MOA

Just a thought, but it would be good to keep the data polling the same for all rifles at the end.

Last time at the range, we had some interesting events with a Fox rifle.
Putting a video together now, going to get some more shooting footage hopefully this Friday, and will report back.
Were going to shoot last Saturday but the weather was truely awful.

When the Fox came out, I had been waiting on and planning to get an SLR107R for a project that I had in mind.
But after comparing both side-by-side, I had to go Polish.

I think Arsenal still shines with their milled guns, but their stamped ones (besides SLR104) just kind of leave me bored.
Nothing wrong with them, but also nothing really unique or special.

Glad it made to 5000 but I'm not in agreement with others in here. There is no scenario where I would take the Fox over an Arsenal.

Not sure how anyone thinks Arsenals are overpriced, especially in relation to the Fox and where its priced right now.

Compared really to only one Arsenal model, the 107R. Iíd agree the Fox is better. Thereís lots of evidence to indicate that the 107R was made using a mix of stamped-specific and milled-specific AK parts and itís widely reported (how true, I donít know) that the current stamped Arsenals are outsourced and not even made at the Arsenal factory in Bulgaria. The QC hasnít been that great on them either.

Iíd take a purpose built AKM from a factory with a good reputation like WBP over the 107R.

107FR's imports or production slowed down big time
104FR's stopped importing because they weren't selling

Just some observations, so I'd say the opposite is quite possibly true.
2019 now, the 104FR and 107FR's have higher demand in smaller circles tho
Squeeze supply, demand always appears to be higher

Well now that's interesting.......
I'm curious if any vendors can confirm this.

if they're outsourced it's probably because they're fulfilling military contracts but they still want U.S. dollars so they slap together something from some subcontractor to satiate us "plebes"

Sorry, don't have time to really type the whole story out right now as in the middle of book work (fun, fun), but basically....

Arsenal-USA, which became Armory-USA, bought tooling to make both 1.0mm stamped and 1.5mm stamped receivers...and shipped it over to Bulgaria.
There a partner company built rifles for them....this is where the SSR-85c came from. It was a smart way to get around the barrel ban of 2005 actually.

Anyway, then A-USA went out of business, as did TGI....leaving that company in Bulgaria without a client and with the ability to make stamped receivers.

Mysteriously around the exact same time, Arsenal Inc. (Vegas) announced the SLR107/106 line. Prior to this, their only stamped gun was the SLR105, which they made in tiny numbers (400-500).

If you look on Arsenal's military website, there's not a single stamped gun to be found; all are milled.

Arsenal does do final assembly and all that for the SLR107R and others, but the stamped receiver shell itself is subcontracted out, yes.
This is why there are some parts in there that seem made for a milled gun...Arsenal really only does milleds for their other clients. The SLR107 was meant to be 'cheaper' for the US civilian market.

Bla bla bla....that's some of it and a simplified story at that.
Gives you a basic idea though.
