Is anyone experiencing magazine wobble on their Z-5RS like can be seen in these videos from HKPRO?

Woo, got me scared. The mags on my Z-5rs from grabagun and the Z-5p from Classic are solid. I must have lucked out or maybe I have a return that got worked on??? Who knows. I'm going to check out that forum to see about other possible issues...

Edit: my mag has slight wobble with bolt closed and a little more with bolt open. No biggie but I'll have to get some time to shoot it. Also I don't have a huge gap in the mag well like a couple of the videos show

It's a real shit-show over in that thread. The TL;DR appears to be most people's have acceptable "mag wobble" and a few have excessive mag wobble per that video in addition to malformed magwells.

Hell yea, 5 pages in 24 hrs. The real big issue with that one guy was the bolt getting caught up while pushing the mag forward. I wouldn't be happy as well. GL to him, I hope he does a follow up when Zenith sends it back to him.

Are both of yours from this most recent influx of Zenith stock? I'm real tempted to pick up either, but there's some risk there as there is with all online firearm purchases.

Yea, both were bought in the last 2 weeks. I've been waiting over a year to get them so I went all out. Mine look good but I still need to find time to shoot, I usually work weekends and long hours so it's an issue. I'm also a newbie when it comes to roller locks so I'm not 100% sure of the issues to look for. To me, they look good to go.

Normal?

Found a YouTube video from HKParts and their sample looks the same.

You have to loosen the Phillips head for windage adjustment, then retightened.
Hence the appearance of being off center.

Yup, they sold out today. Zenith mentioned to have the 5P’s available by late summer to early fall.

Word is the new Zeniths aren’t as nice as they were a year or so back. There’s been a few issues with mag wobbles, crooked receivers, not coming with the picatinny rail but a coupon to get one, etc..

People are getting upset because they were hyped up and several have been very disappointed.

That being said, it is very possible that the only messed up Zeniths are the ones we are hearing about and maybe the issues are very far and few.

My Zenith Z5RS was made perfectly.

One other event when shooting my RS. With the 147 gr AE with the Mystic suppressor, I was getting a lot of gas in the face, maybe even debris. Felt like I was getting sand thrown in my face. Don't recall that with the Lawman (only 15 rounds), so hoping that's the ammo and that Lawman will be cleaner.

Took my Z-5P out to the range yesterday for the first time after purchasing her last week. I shot 170 rounds through the barrel. She shoots flawlessly. I'm a very happy camper!

I'm sure that there are a few bad apples during production that will be missed during QC. It happens to all manufactures no matter how good their reputation is.

PTR's 9KT for example, there are customers who bought the 9KT and complaint that when the magazine is not securing properly in the magazine well. The magazine would just come off when the magazine is wiggled. Customers who had those issues were taken care off by PTR.

I'll try my Omega 9k when I get the chance. Only time this has happened to me was with my CZ 75, FYI, same 147 gr flat nose AE was used and I would get failure to feed all the time.

I'll have to try some of the AE with my EVO and see if I get similar results. Thought I'd try that since it was a little cheaper than the Lawman. Maybe I should have just stuck with the Speer.

I've got a Z-5P and Z-5RS due at the FFL this week. These are the first MP5 style firearms for me so I'm pretty dang excited.

Did anyone end up contacting the mods for a subgun section? If not, I will try to summon them.

Me too! The Z-5P is my first MP5K style firearm that I've ever owned! After shooting it for the first time yesterday, I fell in love with it even more! I am now wanting a Z-5RS!

I don't want go crazy on buying the Z-5RS now since I have a big vacation trip just around the corner with my family. So I'm going to wait till my BDay which is in Nov.

I know what you mean. I struggled back and forth between which one to get first and then ended up just grabbing both.
