Here's mine, which is a work in progress! Have to do something cause I'm left handed and the stock cuts into my cheek. Re-angled grip and lengthened, added finger grooves, lengthened stock. When I get it the way I want it, I'll fiberglass everything to strengthen and beautify. Last pic is what I thought I wanted but continued on with the resulting second picture. Added over center-line scope mount with wide-view scope. RSA adjustable trigger.

Range time.......had everything set up to go for 500yds but the rain came and only got to do a quick zero and a 100 yd group. This was taken a couple years ago and I still havent shot it at 500. This spring is looking good though.

Mine are pretty boring compared to some of your guys'! Nice guns!!!

I like that I have representations of both, the blond wood and cherry finish.

These are a sight for sore eyes. Just might make the Liberals more than a tad nervous. At least I am not the only one so well equipped. Most of the locals here are not as well structured although it is harder to come across those who are. Great pics guys.hit our wanter button and we are similarly equipped.

Well, I popped a POSP on it so I gotta show it off.
Not a bad looking PSL.

re-finished mine again, swapped out the stock and got a new one, and am much happier now....it went from it's original state to the first pic, then this week I changed it to the second pic.

Lookin good swaghag! Think you just convinced to get one of those Rhineland stocks I've been considering.

How's the fit on the handguards? Nice and snug I hope.

Hello akfiles! Just making my official introduction into the romanian crowd.

Here's my almost-done PSL.

Note that the right 100m target was used to zero. This zero was done at *factory* condition.

Right now it's wearing an SVD stock, generic black plastic handguards, an ak-style side rail which is sporting a bushness 4x16x optic, and a bipod fitted directly to the handguard. I use a 'Mamba' sling by Spec. Ops.

The optic i think i'm going to mate with this PSL is going to be a Super Sniper SWFA SS 10x42. The guys in my unit have nothing but good to say about super sniper's, and the 42x would come in handy when i'm trying to plink steel at 600m+.

Final note, a leather-wrapped cheek-rest = love.

That was using 147 grain russian surplus from the big green can. Those groups will improve when i go out and shoot again tomorrow. I since got a trigger job done on my PSL and i have a good feeling those groups will be a lot tighter. Will be shooting same ammo, at the same range.

Did you shoot those groups at 100 meters? If so, great shooting.

Unfortunately no. The target, if you read it, says 'US Army 25m Target Course C Qualification'. That target is designed to be placed at 25 meters to simulate an actual qualification course of fire at varying distances. So basically, as far as silhouettes are concerned, the size is realistic at 25m, but i'm obviously not fighting the wind or humidity. So take it for what it is.

I've also decided to mate this rifle with a Super Sniper 10x42 30mm scope on it. Link to scope. It was $336 shipped 2nd day air, so i should see it wednesday.

I have that scope on my Savage 10FP. It is big, heavy, and tough. The glass is great for the cost, but the feel of the knobs isn't the same as high-dollar scopes (not that they should be at 1/4 of the price). My first one failed the box test, but SWFA's customer service was great and they promply sent a replacement. On my second, the knobs aren't as tactile, but it passed the box test. Overall, a great scope for the cost. That and the Bushnell Elite 3200 10x are the best bang for the buck.

You do know that the 10x42 is a fixed 10 power scope with a 42mm objective lens? The way that you worded your fist post made it sound like a 42 power. I believe that there is a variable power SS scope if that is what you want, but the one that you ordered is fixed 10x.

Nice rifle, by the way.

Thanks!
It was a mixture of a red mahogany, sedona red and a touch of cherry.

Yeah i'm aware it's fixed. That scope came highly recommended by one of the guys in my unit. Former marine, now national guard mech infantry, he's been around the block twice with every optic out there. So i took his advice. =]

Finally Finished up my home build C-F kit I picked up last August.Built on a Romanian receiver from TGI. I restored the bayo mount to it's original glory and the scope I had laying around. This is my first PSL and my new favoritist rifle .The barrel mount bi-pod will be replaced with a receiver mounted one in the near future.

At this very moment that piece of crap Morris Dees has a team of photographic experts combing that pic in a desperate attempt to document yet another right wing extremist militia member.

NICE FREAKING JEEP!

My standard PSL

My custom rifle. I need to record this rifle being fired at night. The fireball it produces will give a Soviet m44 a run for its money.........

I ordered my PSL from J&G and it arrived in three days. I'm not a J&G pimp, but when something comes that fast, it must be discussed. Anyway, I've zeroed my scope and so far, I'm really loving it.

Me at my FFL holding my baby for the first time.

Love the length of it!

My brother loved my PSL so much, he went and got one.
