Default PSL mags $90???

If you were smart enough to load up on these back when they were $20 you might have a gold mine.

HOLLY CRAP! $89 each??????

Wow, I remember purchasing 4 PSL mags with a mag pouch for $100 at Classic Firearms. It was a good package deal. But, that was 3-4 years ago....

Hopefully another batch will come in like last year and end this insanity.

Yep, pretty much inline with the insanity I saw at the local show, psl with 4 mags and pouch with bayonet was asking like 1899! The mag punches I saw were in line of that

Bunch of bs their good rifles but damn 2k? No thanks

Besides the coolness factor; why anyone would buy a PSL over a .308 Vepr is beyond me.

I am a slave to fashion and a PSL is just cool as hell.

Plus I already have a scoped Valmet M78 in .308 so I don't need no stinkin' VEPR.

The one and only reason.

And those mags are how much?

As much as I would love to own a Valmet, the only viable option would be something in 7.62x39 so I could use AKM magazines.

I've had/got both. In my opinion, the PSL is just a much better shooter. No ways as heavy. I got rid of my .308 VEPR because of the weight and I just couldn't get good groups out of it.

Also, there are a few mags on GB for sub $65

I wanted one for years early 2000s to create the black poly Dragunov appearance

Www.dragunov.net only ONE guy made the black poly for PSL Romaks
However after seeing the paltry performance, I never bought it

Its just cool looking but theres better rifles
I always disliked the wood buttstock

I remember seeing a guy at my local show with two 54R crates full of mags at $30 and the rusty ones at $26 a piece. Hindsight is a bitch.

I just picked up a PSL last weekend and didn't realize how expensive the mags were. There was a single PSL mag at a gun show for $75. I should of offered $60 and see if he'd took it. And also had an SVD mag for $75.

Getting tougher to find and the PSL rifles have really jumped in price a well. I have a few left (two with poly furniture) but am getting tempted to shake loose of a couple as prices climb. I think I paid bought $700 each back in the day and mags for around $30 each on average.

Still, fun to shoot. More fun when the ammo was dirt cheap.

Mags?
I am looking for a used gas tube for a project and all PSL parts have kind of dried up.

Yeah parts are getting rare. I'm just happy to have the rifle. Always wanted one and kept passing up on them back about 5 -6 years ago for other rifles.

Glad I got my psl kit and all my mags 2yrs ago .200 for a loaded pouch with nos mags in paper. Not a good price for the mag pouches but all were new in paper and 3 of the 11 I have are unmarked. Kit looks unfired with og barrel. Ive thought about selling it a few times with the 2 receivers and scope with all the trimming a few times but its one of my bucket list guns and one of the recievers I have for it is Romanian.

I think there is a mag matching # thread on the ak forum so you can trade mags to get some that match your gun. I found 1 in my lot that matched a gus rifle and one that was 20 #s off from mine.

No joke. If I'd known I would have a PSL later down the road I'd bought some of the mags earlier. Hell i'd bought a bunch of WASR10s when they were $199 if I'd known they would pop up to $600 plus or minus.

Here ya go! Found this on eBay at $260 shipped. 4 PSL magazines with a mag pouch...

It looks like the same ones that Classicfirearms sold 3-4 years ago for $100.

Yeah, I got my PSL for $750 five years ago.. The rifle came with 4 magazines. 54r surplus ammo was dirt cheap back then!

Does anyone know a reliable source for these mags? Preferably not at $100 a pop.

The warehouse crew found one unopened box of PSL magazines.
I asked that they be brought forward and be relisted.

I had some at Knob Creek too, leftovers from prior KCR's.
Sold the ones at KCR for $75 each...
I am sure the ones we didn't sell at KCR will be at the SAR show in Phoenix.

I guess Apex is trying to capitalize on the elections price gauging.
The Psl mags on 10/26/16 were $45(very good condition) and $55(excellent condition).
On 11/1/16 were $65(very good condition).
On 11/4/16 were $79(very good condition)

I wish someone would import the PSL again. I am hoping Century gets lost in ras47's and their canik series and stops importing and someone like Fime Group imports some good shit from Yugoslavia and Romania like Century used to. I am really liking the Veprs and FM rifles lately. Glad I bought 2 Veprs and an SLR-104 recently.

As for the PSL magazines, shit, I thought 45$ was a lot.
I am considering selling my vepr54 and maybe getting another PTR, or save up for a Galili ACE 308. There are some very good, rugged 308's out there. The ACE, FAL, G-3, SCAR H.

I really loved the Dragunov and the PSL. I really instantly loved the elegance and feel of those rifles in Iraq. They weren't that heavy and had a good feel. They are usually good quality rifles, even over in 3rd world countries. The PSL was the first comblock rifle I held when I got in Iraq. I want one but maybe one day we will get imports. There is nothing wrong with 147 ball.

APEX has always followed market price; they are never ahead of the market price - but they do KNOW what it is at all times.
