Hey guys I'm having trouble finding a thread protector for my POF that will fit it...Anyone know where I can get one? I ordered an actual German MP5 one but it doesn't fit cause the threads are 1/2x28 on the POF and I didn't know that lol....There is another one on hkparts thats US made but that doesn't fit either, I guess it wont sit flush with the barrel.

Even though I'll be using the flash suppressor I want a thread protector too...Can I get actual POF made ones? Thanks.

I got to start saving for one. These things are pricey but the MP5 is the diamond standard on which all submachine guns are set to.

Wow. Wow.. I like the fixed stock with the flashlight mounted far handguards. I like the retractable stock as well. I'd probably get all 3, the B & T wobble brace, el cheapo fixed, and the classic retractable.

I like the full size standard mp5 better. Which do you guys prefer?

Full size, and the retractable is my favorite but the fixed stock looks great too, both with the surefire handguards.

I love the 10mm ones. Zippy little gun that makes big(ger) holes.

A reverse stretch 10mm sounds fun.

Nice line up swolff.

Be advised, these guns are really addictive because they shoot like no other due to the design.
The HK roller lock game is also on the $$$$$ side but having said that............

Looking good! Enjoy it and get the POF MP5 mags from RTG while they're still here. 29.95$ a piece and they work. However they were unavailable for over 2 years last time he ran out

Thank you! The "cheapest" I would have to say was the DJ Getz 94. I bought it as a title 1 rifle and then had him file a Form 2 then Form 4'd it from him to me. Every gun pictured except for the D54 SBR (A4 config 3rb A2 stock) has had over 1000 rounds through them running my sear. The DT K gun and the DT D54 (A2 setup) each have well over 10K through them.

Thanks guys and thanks for reminding me swolf! Only got 1 POF mag right now and I definitely need to get more. Now...I need an HK 3-lug MP5 flash hider that will hopefully fit over the thread protector, and a not too beat up surefire 628 hand guard.

Oh also, what type of chest rig and sling do you guys use/recommend for the MP5?

I run the Vicker's ONE on my Mp5 and SBR's, they are slimmer and lighter than the original VCAS sling. If you haven't used a Vicker's sling with the quick adjustment tab you are missing out IMO.

The Vickers ONE™ Sling was designed with smaller sub machine guns and pistol caliber carbines in mind. The 1” webbing fits 1” sling loops, like the CZ Scorpion EVO, without having to “bunch up” traditional 1.25” webbing.
