Default Wolf 7.62x39mm White Box 123 Gr

First time in a long time 7.62x39 ammo is below $200.00. Looks like a good trend and hopefully it continues.
Wolf 7.62x39mm White Box 123 Gr-$199.50 7.62x39 Military Ammo FMJ LC Steel case ammo.

7.62x39 has been $0.20 shipped for at least a couple months. If you can't find it you are sleeping under a rock

Always include shipping into final price. That ammo, shipped to me, is $231. That may be a deal for someone closer to the vendor. Regardless, it's far above what the deals have been recently. The list price of $499.00 is laughable and should be red flag to the tactics of this vendor.

Every couple of weeks or so there comes an offer for about $200-210 a case, shipped. Some vendors put up cases of ammo for cheap to lure, but then have ridiculous s&h costs from $35-75 per case. Palmetto State Armory, which is on the other coast from me and is further than any vendor except maybe in Miami, has shipped full cases of ammo for about $25. Many times they've shipped it for free.

Remember that the charge isn't just for "shipping", it's for shipping and "handling". They can upcharge whatever they think they can get away with.

They are listing shipping as $16.50 for me so it's not bad.

Does sportsmans guide do free shipping codes for ammo? I recall seeing some free shipping codes but I've never ordered from them to see if they work on ammo.

If you find the ad on slick guns it has the free shipping code and they do work on ammo

Slickguns is a good resource. They have the most comprehensive listing of coupons by vendor. Their ads usually display most of them. Since up for their alerts. You can set the price and they'll email you any deals that match. Unfortunately, the alerts don't take shipping into account.

The two best places for overall price with free shipping are Sportsmans Guide and TargetsportsUSA. SGAmmo doesn't do free shipping, but their shipping prices are extremely reasonable. Cabelas and MidwayUSA tend to have free or cheap shipping deals from time to time.

For some reason when you search their page this price doesn't show up. But when using this link it does. Thanks for this, just ordered!

My wife keeps asking "do you need more ammo?". I say "I hope not". Why do you need more mags? Do you need them? I say "yep, where else is all that ammo going to go!".

She will never understand.

Sportsman Guide is selling cheap laquered Klimovsk Wolf 7.62x39. This ammo is OK, I shoot 500 rounds and besides funny bad food like smell can't see anything wrong with it. Same accuracy as Barnaul made ammo. Free shipping with the code.

My ammo arrived today and it is indeed lacquer, though no red sealant like the pic.

I reminds me of the Chinese ammo we used to get in the 90s due to colour, lacquer, and even some metal shavings from the proj getting shoved in. Headstamp is Uly symbol, 7.62x38 16, which makes me like it even more because commercial ammo pisses me off

My Klimovsk shoots really well but it is annoying to me that it is corrosive when the box says otherwise and the extra 10-15 minutes per gun of cleaning after shooting adds up to make it not worth as much as non corrosive stuff. I thought they fixed that with newer lots but maybe I just got stuck with some old stock.

That deal on the lacquered and sealed stuff comes and goes, I just hope it's in stock next time they run a double discount + free shipping coupon.

It is Klimovsk, it is OK but stinks like dead body and could be corrosive. I am not getting it, I prefer Barnaul and Vimpel for better accuracy and non corrosive for sure.
