The almost unknown Polish P-83 (9x18) is also an excellent choice. At the top of the Mak. forum at Gunboards there should be a very descriptive 'sticky' on its unique design/production.
There is a good selection now on GB. The large gun shop in midtown Memphis has a pair of them.

The size is pretty much identical with Makarovs, and decent ergos. Slightly heavier DA trigger, but a very smooth pull.

The mags are Not interchangeable with those from a Mak, and the hammer spur is a bit longer. I enjoy shooting them as much as my Maks.
"Military Arms Channel" etc has a review.

Zastava M70
FEG AP
CZ-50/70
CZ-52
CZ-82
Walther PP
Of the ones on the list? I would have a three way tie.
Makarov-Cz82 and the Walther PP.

Not a big fan of the 9mm Mak cartridge so it would be the Walther PP if it was a 380acp. If the Walter is a 32acp, one of the other two gets first place. A lot depends on what you want it for? If its just to own and shoot at the range? It could be any of them. If I was going to carry it? The Cz82 (more rounds), The Walther and followed by the Mak.

But thats just me.

The only bad thing about the p-83 is lack of mags.
I bought a like new one years ago but don't shoot it that often because of the lack of parts available.

In my opinion it is a bit more accurate than my other 9x18 pistols.

Out of the ones listed....
Makarov

I love mine. I don’t carry it or shoot it much though.

I guess since the only one on that list that I own is a Walther PP, then that is the answer.

Just to have & take to Range, ? Any of them................
To carry for serious business? NONE of them......

If it absolutely needs to be an auto loader......... 1911 COLT
Much rather a Revolver tho .44SPL./.Mag , .45COLT , .357Mag..... S&W M 24 , M 29, /629, M 27, M28 ,COLT PYTHON, or RUGER ALASKAN, GP100, ......based on so much use I 'd even be OK with a 3-3/4" Blackhawk Bisley .44.but that's just ME
