^^ Nice m21, I'd prefer the SBR one like that over the carbine.
Sucks they cut the rail.

I like it but, I don't want another SBR. I already have a M92 and a M85 in the works.

Maybe you can work a trade with someone who got the longer barrel kit. The only difference between the rifle and carbine is the marking on the front trun from what I can tell. If you can’t, you can make a new proper length gas tube and piston. If I decide to pick up another carbine kit in the future I might be interested

Have a WTT posted.

If not I'll dump the 85 kit and keep the 21. I will still have a PAP85.

It was a sad, nasty kit.

Bore was still really nice though. Handguard retainer was rusted in place, Gas block and top cover really pitted, just real decrepit looking kit.

Would up using it for a EG STG-941 clone

Thatís the kinda stuff I like, which I also like new unissued kits too. That would have made a great Somali pirate AK clone.

Nice virgin romy RPK front end I snagged on gunbroker plus a non-matching kit (two sets of matching serials actually, trunnion forward is one set and the rest are another set lol). Restored the dong on an AES10B handguard; tricky to make it look right due to the way they contoured them after neutering them, but I'm happy enough with the way it turned out. I also elected to situate it a little further forward to avoid issues with mag interference. Have a spare push button for this so I can swap between standard RPK furniture and the 80's paratrooper setup. Still waiting on the recreator slabside romy RPK receivers so I can get this built.

I am loving that Type 1 Mr. Nobody! I hope the slab side I sold you will serve your build well! I'll post my Instagram pic instead of taking more pictures, because my camera on my phone has bit the dust. I acquired this about half a year ago after selling my Sphinx SPD. I just got the funds to build it, and I am struggling to find a good AK builder. And I am going to have to find a receiver that has EG selector markings as well.

DDR Mpi-KM 1970 kit. (I threw in a spare later version handguard and I have and a set of EG night sights)

1974 Tula kit i recently picked up

dust cover/bolt/carrier match, doesnt appear to match trunnion

Dont really know anything about these but thought it was a cool alternative to the common 68/69 Tulas

I received three malware warnings when I tried following your link. I would seriously suggest trying imgur.

I just received my Completed matching Polish AMMS parts kit today for a great deal. I paid $480 for it. I bought it with the intention to learn how to build it myself, but I changed my mind after I examined it. It looks beautiful and like new condition. I plan to order a Childers receiver with customized serial number to match the parts kit.

The barrel is chrome-line, without any marking or manufacture name. Do you think the barrel was made by Atlantic Firearms? How good is Atlantic Firearms barrel?

Thanks,
Cal

Now, I may be wrong...I have been before and will be again, but I wasn't aware of Atlantic Firearms turning their own barrels. If you bought it from them, I'm sure they'd let you know where it came from.

With few exceptions, most US barrels are "good".
