Well man, get on the list to get notified. I missed the last batch and my source that works there says there will be more in the next 2-6 months.

They had a small batch a few weeks ago they didnt even put a notification out. It was only like 3 or 4 pieces and it was gone before I could get my wallet out.

Dag nabbit, I thought of doing that before, and actually did, but the list time frame ran out, it's been so long, I thought they'd never get any more.
I've since, gotten on the list, again.

I guess I am relieved I missed out - Because I would have ended up buying another parts kit and build! One good part like that would make me compelled to do a build around it : )

I think they can - but not inexpensively.

A few years back Ironwood made some, but I think it was wood only and you needed the metal and rivets to reattach - (not 100% sure on that) I think someone recently on this forum had loaned Ironwood designs a specimen for copying - Don't know if that means Ironwood may make more, but Originals are nice when they can be had.

Actually, it was just 12/3/16 that Ironwood Designs asked for an example of the Galil ARM handguard from us.
AKmoose, and I, lent them our ARM handguards, and by mid March, we had them back, and Ironwood finished the measurements.
They made some AR handguards in wood.
I don't know if they have any more.
I'm sure they be willing to do some more.
The ARM handguards don't seem to have been brought to market yet.
You would need to send a set of all the internal hardware to have the panels mounted.
They do seem to make a good product, and it'd be nice to see the Galil handguards done, both AR and ARM.
Maybe someone else could contact Matt, over at Ironwood Designs, and ask about their availability.

Yes, it was much longer than I'd have expected, just to do some measurements, but we did get them back, in fine shape, eventually.

So, if anyone else would like to contact them and ask about the progress of the Galil ARM, and AR handguards, I'd love to hear about it, but for me, I think I'll just wait for Botach to get some more, maybe by 2020 or so.

The thing with Botach though, was that I bought 130 "excellent shape", nearly new, Galil magazines that they were selling, which were not nearly new at all, and were, in fact, in average - good condition, many of which were "dinged".
I wrote up a review of that on their website, which was never shown by them, go figure.

CNC-Warrior - Tyler Butts

Nice to hear from you.

How are those Galil gas blocks coming along, and the full size Galil folding stock "button" pins?
Remember, Mr Folgers sent you a new condition example of that folding stock pin, a while back?

I'd sure like to get some "new condition" folding stock pins, for spares, if ever any of my stock start to get little loose.
(you know their not quite the same as your micro pins)

Thanks again, for your help with out Galil needs, much appreciated, to say the very least.

We actually already have a program written and ready to go for the Galil gas blocks. We were about to start production when a friend of the business said he was about to have them made. So we planned to just to buy from him and retail them. However, we haven't heard anything since. We'll have to give him a call.

As for the Galil hinge pins, I believe our folding stock pins will serve as a suitable replacement. Ours are slightly longer at the bottom but that won't interfere with the functionality and can be altered easily. Today I measured them both and they were within 0.001" on the big diameter.

Original Galil pin is on the bottom

Thanks Tyler, but I can't find those pins on your site.
All I see, is the micro pin, which is different.

Are you thinking about doing the Sniper gas block, or just the ARM gas blocks.
I'm pretty sure you did the CAD imaging of the Sniper block too, right?

I'll create a product page for it on the website by tomorrow afternoon and link into my post here. It is the same hinge pin that we use on all of our buttstocks. Also, you may call in to order at anytime.

Pertaining to the gas block, we have drawings and models for both versions. However, we only have a program written for the Sniper gas block at this time.

Never really used the ones I got. I see you have some Micro pistons that are looking great and done right.

I come across a number of those same horror stories, but I gotten great service the handful of items i've used them, and the reports I've been reading the last couple years seem to indicate someone up there finally pulled their heads out of their asses, and they seem to be on the ball now.

when i click on the link it says 404.

can someone please post what these wood arm handguards were selling for so i know?

i have 2 ARM galil wood handguards im trying to sell.

pm me if interested.

dont try to snowball me on price im going to find out the real price range.

my 2 handguards are pretty rough tho. one of em is pretty nice though, it just seems to be covered in some kind of black guatemalan grime... the other one is clean but looks scuffed/worn.
