Yeah to pricey, If they were $10-12 I would buy some but at $15 that's way to high

Ditto way overpriced in the first place and I bet they go up weekly. No worries someone will buy a bunch then resell them in the marketplace for 100% more than AOA is asking...LMMFAO

I thought the same when I first received the email alert, but went ahead and bought four just to see the grade 1 mags for myself. Where can you find grade 1 surplus, like new/unissued for less? I haven't seen any real AK mag deals in a few years. There will be the occasional 'deal' for mags in poor condition, but not grade 1 or grade 2 for cheap. I think surplus mags are drying up because they are becoming increasingly more difficult to import. I could be wrong and perhaps we will see 'very good' quality mags for less, but I doubt it.

So, which website is selling Grade 1 Surplus mags for 10 bucks or less, in the current market?

Have you guys researched the prices for Grade 1 East German mags lately?

The last deal on mags was the AIM Surplus 20 year anniversary discount code with the Yugo mags. I think $8 per mag with that code, but not including shipping or tax (Ohio residents) And before AIM, the last deal was through SG Ammo, 'Eastern European' mags in good-very good condition for $79.95 for 10.

Well I guess they are not pricey compared to the 2 rib Bosnian mags. Good lord.

For surplus mags, I dont care where they come from, if its DDR, Romy, Yugo, Chinese or what, or even what they look like. All I care about is it functional. I bought some Hungarian that were pretty good, the Croat ones that had fitment issues, some Yugo BHO ones that are great, and a large lot of old Romanian ones that looked old & beat up but work just fine. I learned that cheap mags work just fine.

This may be a good deal, I defer to others' more knowledgeable opinions. But after buying over a hundred cheaper, fully functional mags, even polymer ones for less than $10, I'm still Cheap Charlie.

Its a MIXTURE, NO guarantee of ONLY East German mags.
No difference in function from any other com blocks. Just a wee bit nicer finish perhaps. Its all personal preference in origin country.

They said they were going to offer a country of origin option after they sort through them, but will charge a few bucks more for it.

I'd like to know what country of origin is on the mags I linked photos to.

$19 a pop for what is likely to be more Hungarian and Polish than E. German mags. Yeah I will pass and wait for AIMSurplus to post up more surplus mags here in a little.

Yes. Two are Hungarian. I think one is Polish, but the other blued one has kind of a different follower; not sure on that one.

I hope they do post more. This is still an option if you are willing to pay for what appears to be unissued, like new condition.

No, I haven't. The one in question has some cosmoline on it. I think it is an East German, though. That would make sense, considering they are supposed to be a mix of those three types.

Check to see if the grove on the back of floorplate is slightly smaller than the others . ( where the spine is) if so ... I say Polish. Check the follower for a stamp

yeah,,,,,,,,, $10 ore less is where I buy surplus mags. I bought a few for $14.99 and regretted it. The Aim surplus Yugos for $9.95 each were a godsend as I picked up 50 of them (10 were for a friend, 40 I kept)
