Very nice!

I only have two so not really worth posting, but they are in great condition, a Romy and a gorgeous EG.

The circle 10 bayos are really nice. Funny enough, they are the only ones that fit on my SLR without a bit of fitting lol

Nice collection Escape!! To bad I don't know what I'm looking at.

I have a few for some of he ak's I've got. Got them in the last 5 years all matching #'s. I bought Martin's book and still do not understand the whole 4x6...er whatever thing. Guess I need to spend some time and learn them.

TP:

Thanks! One of these days Im going to start a thread of my own on AK bayonets I just need to find the time to take photos and compose my thoughts.

I have some (hopefully) interesting stories on how I acquired quite a few bayonets that were smuggled out of the Soviet Union back in the 86-87 time frame.

All are in new and unused condition, still wrapped in brown wax paper, and were purchased from Russian soldiers and arsenal workers. The Soviet Union was in desperate straits in the mid to late 80s and literally anything could be purchased for US dollars. The problem of course was getting things out of the USSR and into the US, but that too could be accomplished if the right palms were greased.

Good times!

I have one of each type, Old style , Bulgarian, Dark Bakelite, great bluing, good sheath. Rounded bakelite handle type ( Bulgarian), Plain bakelite, light brown. And steel end type ( Polish) Cool Marbeling on this one. Mounts on Primary weapon. Have a great shape leather frog for this one, Black rubber insulator, parkerized sheath. restamped 15644 to match bayo. The Commie Gear is so fukin stout, wire cutter feature, crazy stuff. Always imagine what cutting a live circuit is like with one of these. Stainless plain blade. The bulgy has the sawtooth back feature. Not shaving sharp, but worked em a bit. Good letter opener!! Big collection, very cool!!!
