Default AFGHAN BFPU PARTS & AK47 MAG IDENTIFICATION

This mags were picked up last week off the battlefield and I have not been able to ID them from the net. I know AK74 mags but am brand new to AK47 mag identification and history. The only stamp is an "R" on the left side of the spine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I amnot sure what the make or history is of this buttstock RPK? PKM?

This mag look like it was hammered together there is brass or copper residue ( home made spot welds?) on the front press marks and is noticeably heavier than the first no internals and no stampings whatsoever though

My favorite is this PG. Russian?

Butt stock appears to be from a RPD. Magazine is Izzy?

RPD belt fed Soviet thank you. I would like to think it is an Izzy but it has none of the proof stamps I see on the net. It does have an "R" on the left side middle of the spine ...does that mean Russia? Romania? Not even close?

Pistol grip looks a like an early Romanian.

The PG has a lot of flake in it I was confused if it was a early Russian glass filled polyamide did not even consider a early Romanian possibility. Thank you.

Ram, I noticed the bolt hold open as well...Yugo? Hungarian?

The mag body is not Yugo. Swapping followers is easy. Could be Hungarian 30 rounder. Check to see if that 'R' stamp isn't a man in moon stamp instead. I have some and the spine stopping before the rear lug ramp is typical.

I noticed the spine stopping that's why I snapped a pic of it. Unfortunately it is definitely an "R" on the spine which brings me back to square one: I have no clue haha Thanks Ram

The follower and spring retainer at the bottom of the spring appears to be Chinese.

I know I am digging it a lot. Thank you. I have a cool story behind it- Taliban owner is very recently deceased. The Operator turned in the rest of the AK and said I could have the PG. Invaluable to me.

So where I am at is:
Early Romanian Pistol Grip
Soviet RPD buttstock

2 Unknown 7.62 mag bodies not Yugo, not Hungarian

Possible Chinese follower and retaining clip

My guess is the mag with bad spot welds is Pakistani.

Still do not know about the AK47 mags and can't find anything on the net. Anyone have anything solid?

First mag
Stepped follower looks Chinese

Spring retainer nub looks flat and don't see a spring retainer tab (hard to tell from pic ) if so that part is Hungarian.
Body , first rib type pattern, looking at it maybe Polish or Hungarian based on front lug welds.

Overall looks to be a Hungarian mag with a Chinese follower.
My best guess.

Second mag the terminating rib is at an angle and looks to be enamel paint
Most surely late or 3rd edition Bulgarian body

That's all i got for now

Thanks bigrob210
Crazy that a mag picked up over here has been hodgepodged with Chinese and Hungarian pieces
The body is still unknown although it carried an “R” on the left middle of the spine
I have concluded that the other body must be a Paki cave job

Very interesting items.

One of the great things about AK's and related equipment is that you never know what will turn up next.
