Default WBP-AK 47 Rifle- Polish CG1

We just received a small shipment of the popular Polish WBP AK 47- Kalashnikov based rifles. These are built on all new Polish WBP parts with a Radom Hammer forged Polish barrel and a Polish AK Receiver by Childers Guns.

Just picked it up and it's straight as an arrow, nice rivets, fit and finish is first rate. All the wood is impressive, smooth nice sheen and well fit. Atlantic you did a super job on these and they are well worth the money. All that's left to do is dress her up, clean lube and shoot.

I notice the specs for these on your website specifically say forged trunion and hammer forged/chrome lined barrel as well as a nickel plated bolt and carrier but I don't see where it says whether the bolt itself is forged, billet or cast? Am I missing something? If not can you clarify which it is?

When should we expect these to come back in stock?

Team Atlantic:

Is the WBP Red also built on a Childers receiver please?

Thank you.

Morrisey receiver. Other than marking, I do not see any difference between Childers and Morresey receivers.

I notice in the image, the receiver has the FA notch. The WBP Kit also on a morrisey receiver does NOT have the FA notch.

Thanks Jeddak and TXsailor.

The reason I ask is because on the Circle 11 and CG1 Atlantic clearly states Childers, and on the WPB Red they make no note of the receiver manufacturer.

If it's a Morrisey, that's OK, but it seems as if the are embarressed not to note a Morrisey.

Allegedly these are WBP flats that are bent, drilled, etc. in the USA.

I don't care either way, but for over $1000.00 it is a plus to know.

I bought both the Circle 11 and CG1, absoluteley fantastic fit and finish, worth every dollar.
