thanks in advance.
The barrel will be Flush With The End Of The FSB. So you just measure the distance from the hole on the bottom of the FSB to the front of the barrel and drill the hole 180 degrees opposite on the top. It is that easy.

Great tutorial. Did you make your own muzzle brake retaining pin and spring? If so, what materials did you use?

FYI,

John is out of the loop for awhile and cannot answer questions.

I've got a couple of virgin barrel questions, not M92 specific.
Relieving the bottom of the chamber: My new barrels ( Yugo and Bulgarian) are cut for the extractor, but aren't relieved. Looking at a factory Saiga, it doesn't seem to be either. Is this an M92 specific step? Is there a specific angle, depth, radius or is it more like a 1911 chamber? In the photo it looks like you've broken the edge and not much more.
HG Retainer: How do you measure for the top cut for the latch? Is this something that has to be done with the barrel installed to get it just right? My Saiga doesn't have this cut either, so I'll have to add it there also.

Oh. does anybody know how to get the stupid front hg off a Saiga rifle? I've got the 2 bottom screws out, but it doesn't want to pull down in the front or slide forward. Am I just not being persuasive enough? I can be very persuasive, but don't want to break anything important.
