Ugh. A few years ago there was a Red 9 at my LGS for $500. I was too young to buy it (20). Nice score Panzer.

Fear21,

A few years ago was a difference of 1700.... Ugh! The best time to buy old firearms was years ago. The next best time, now...

Nice hit on this rig. They are neat pistols.
Here's the one I bought off some stupid woman liberal that found it in her basement after her father passed away and freaked out. I believe she was actually going to throw it in a dumpster if I hadn't bought it. Sad thing was she had thrown out all of her father's military items and paperwork-might of had some bringback papers for it.
Still gave her her asking price. Best $100.00 I can remember spending!

Really??? Interesting. I always just assumed they were required to jump thru those same bullshit hoops.
Resisting the urge to start searching... Dammit. Always wanted something similar.
Beautiful score.

Wow, Greendevil, that was a well spent $100. At least you saved the C96, too bad about all her Dad's other stuff.

Nice and only for a 100 bucks. What a way for her to dishonor her dad, he must have been rolling in his grave initially, then relieved to have a more respectable individual get ownership. Sucks she threw out all his military items.... I don't get it.... people pissing away family history over politically ideology...

Its the result of the breakdown of the family structure brought on by a disregard for Christian values and a disrespect for life in general that has been influenced by legalized infanticide.

Infanticide is not legal, nor will it be.

Political obfuscation attempts of the definition does not change it to legalized abortion.

That and you have to have little Johnnie in every fucking sport out there. Keep him so busy you can not spend any time with him at all.

One of my friends has three kids and the only real time they get to spend with the kids is when they are driving them to and from all the shit they are into.

We only let them do one thing a year. Not try out for everything and do what you can get into. Want to play hockey well you best get ready for it. Because if you do not make it that is it. (they always made it)

Same here katb,

I played hi school ball, recruited for college... Totally burnt out.... Said no in college, wrestled and played rugby... Best decision ever! Won't let mine play football... Fencing, Rugby, wrestling, jujitsu, camping, hunting, shooting... All in moderation.... Except shooting LOL!

She wasn't waving it around-she had it in a paper bag she was holding closed like it had a rattle snake in it. She told me she and her mother had previously sold SEVERAL other German pistols right after he died for $200.00 (total) and that after her mom passed away she was cleaning out a cabinet in the basement when she found this one they had missed.

I've lucked on to several German helmets and firearms this way including two almost unissued and matching German P-38's-BYF 44 and a AC-42 w/ 2 matching numbered mags-both w/ original holsters from some guy whose dad was a P-38 pilot in Italy. He was selling them because his fat couch potato wife had maxed out their credit cards on the home shopping network buying jewelry. Again I paid the asking price: $375.00 each and a German M1928 Heeres Model flare gun for $40.00.

I don't understand why family history means so little to some folks either but I sure don't want see these horrible guns and military items wind up in the wrong hands and everyone knows those bring back German and Japanese helmets are haunted anyway!

If you are talking about the stock, it slides into a slot on the back of the grip area.

The SS is still around, eh? I kind of wish they were so I could loot one relatively guilt-free. No one makes a repro in 9mm because the dann thing is too complicated.

Speaking of 712's, my old gun dealer buddy bought a lot of guns and collections from widows, one day he bought a collection from a widow whose husband was in the OSS during WWII, one of the guns was a 712 that she said that her husband had used during the war, of course it was an unregistered NFA weapon. I saw it taken apart and destroyed. Very sad.

Ooooooooooo,

Buzzkill glashaus... I need to find some nice old ladies with this stuff...

An occasional vet will drop by the sub... However, I feel compelled to send them to the local lgs to get the most for their item... Maybe one will cut me a deal one day...
