Default Dracos $540 shipped

Found this place and pulled the trigger, good price and I didn't have to order from Classic! Wanted to share the deal, good to see more of these coming in.

When a new shipment of these make it here they usually on last 6 months or so. Maybe it will be slower in the current market but after seeing them @ $650+ for months I wasn't gonna wait to see if these make it to the sub $500 level, learned that lesson when AES-10Bs were $499 everywhere forever and I didn't pull the trigger...

Hah, 99/100 threads in this section should be in the "not a krink" section... With M92 stickys and all the PAP love I would say "krink" is a pretty loose term...

I know the picture is of a Romanian Draco, but the ad does not mention Romania at all.
I know Century came out with their own version of the Draco and call it....a Draco.

I'd be damn sure I was getting a Romanian Draco and not the Century one before laying my money down.

EDIT: searched the century part number and showing items described as Romanian.
The model number matches the Romanian version, I called to double check and they confirmed for me as well that in fact was the Romanian Draco.

I think it's safe to say that the files have re-branded the term krinkov to just mean tiny AK. We now have a historical "Krinkov" and a colloquial "Krinkov". Pretty much everything in the "krink" threads fall within the latter.

Just on this order. I called, owner answered the phone and answered my questions easily. Place order Monday, shipped today [Tuesday] and shipped free 2-Day to get here on Thursday. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised, no bs or extra fees.

Mountain Man, open carry or concealed carry is an interesting option in Texas. The dumb part of current Texas Law is the requirement for a holster.

A good option for stealth carry in Texas with a folding arm brace would be maybe with a backpack.

How will you do it?

I don't quite share this view. I agree that all "tiny" AKs are most appropriate to be in this Krinkovs forum over others, but I think they shouldn't be called Krinkovs unless they are in the format of the original AKS-74U that originally started the name.

M92s and M85s are similar but the barrels are too long, they don't have left side folding stocks, nor a spring loaded top cover. Dracos have their own name.

Some folks might call anything "tiny" a krink, but I won't be doing that. But then I know revolvers and pistols are not interchangeable, and know that what most people call batteries are really cells, and how to spell voila instead of "walla," and am the type to include the ".5" in 5.45x39.5."

Others are quick to point out that most of what people call AKs are actually AKMs, but that doesn't bother me all that much. There is a lot of AKM discussion on the AK Files, but it doesn't mean AKMs are actually AKs from an esoteric perspective.

Well it's a word with an origin and a history.

You can argue about which semi-auto rifles it should be used to describe, or that the meaning should change, but it's incorrect to claim that there was "no such thing" originally described as a Krinkov. There was, and it was a (Russian) AKS-74U.

One point of view:

That would be the Soulja Boy effect, Dracos are now sought after by a different demographic

Saddest part of this post is it's truth and social aftermath. Then, the self-marketed stereotype is driving up demand/price.
$hit, Century may soon have a new sales for it's "Homie-Cant" sights...

I guess if a Draco is a "krink" my PAK-9 is one as well.

Krink is a slang term, anyway. Hardly anyone here owns a "true" semi AKS-74u, anyway, unless you have a SLR 104ur or a kit-build Russian.
