Default Valdai pg-210 holographic weapon sight

Anybody have word on where to get these and what sort of quality they are? I'm extremely interested in them.

Ekkk looks heavy and limited field of view but I'd love to see how well it performs.

Made by AO Jupiter company located in the city of Valdai, Russian Federation.

They are making two types of sights: PK130 collimating and PG210 holographic. PK130 is included in the Ratnik program, and thus given russian army designation 1P87. As for PG210 company website says that these are based on "reliable and well-known sight", which kinda sounds to me like "we copied EOTech". Claims of no parallax error in range between from 100 to 200 meters. Battery life (AA type) of 2000 hours.

Apparently still a prototype, and company doesn't offer any of their sights on commercial market.

One was up on Ebay not too long ago (I saw it myself). Some forums were sourcing claims that they would 'be hitting the west by the end of the summer'.

Edit: and I made a whoopsy. I didn't realize those two sights existed- I thought it was just one. 1P87 is the sight I meant to refer to here.

What are your impressions?

I found that thread and read the entire thing.. Interesting amount of variations, apparently. Curious as to the quality of the thing.

Yes, Fuze has this and it is classified as the Holographic sight for Fuze. I want to know what PK-AS ACOG sight he uses that has an ACSS looking reticle

Ill have my girl post pics of mine tonight, it came withe the Jupiter short mount, instead of the long mount, but Ill just use my NPZ rail when I put a magnifier on. Also i think the chicoms are starting to make fakes already so watch out. Real ones come factory with Jupiter mounts and windage markings and in digital camo pouches with manuals, tool and dust clothes.
Ive seen some suspicious ones that are lacking markings and or wrong markings and cheap asian ak mounts being offered out of Asia, so take care not to be the guy that bought the China made Kobra POS LOL.

Actually i don't know of any place ya can at the moment. Just hunt like a fool and one will pop up.
Mine has 9 levels of brightness which anything before like 4 is not visible
(night vision) and a very very slight blue tint to the glass. The image is not visible at any setting backwards through the lens. reticle crisp, but is smaller than expected with the double dots and horizontal dash marks. So I'm sure with a magnifier it will look great and utilize the dots as they are intended for bullet drop since my eyes aren't 20/20.
I actually surprised because I was expecting the sight to be a polymer unit. it's entirely aircraft grade aluminum or something similar and seems very robust. Also weight feels slightly less than my 1p63.
Last pic is mounted on my arsenal.

You really need to sell this to a guy who runs a website specifically just for these kinds of optics.

I bet there is a guy like that out there somewhere

So this is a reflex collimator optic? It appears that way with the reflective piece and the 1P87 designation correlates to the PK130 which is non holographic.

that would be a steal! If they come to the states at some point, they will be in the 500 range or slightly more. Cost could vary between provider of course and availability. See some out of taiwan but they were questionable and they were over a grand without a real Jupiter mount, missing the windage marks and had the circle with dot. thinking possible shotgun style or ripoffs.

Heres the civilian or possible shotgun model Both the mount are incorrect for the sight as well as the magnifier though. They could be copies and usually the magnifier (VALDAI-ZT410 or 310) and its mount is marked by jupiter as well. Reticle is the circle with dot center like Eotech style.
Note that there is no windage marks on the elevation/windage screws. Ive been researching this unit for like two years and I've not once came across a pic of a unit without the windage/elevation destinations yet so be aware of non military or prototype/copy variations.

Military issue types.

WOW I haven't been back to this thread in awhile! Look at all of this great info! Absorbing now.

It seems that the Russians have been really upping their game in the optic technology department. Been pumping out good stuff. Depending on how this thing reviews (and retails) I definitely might slap it onto my VZ and DAKM. I assume that they're not calibrated for 7.62x39 though and instead 5.45?

They have a 7.62 reticle as well. But Im assuming as hard as this one was to track down a Ak103 variant would be harder.

Ok, first impression! if you don't have 20/20 vision I found using the 100 meter top dot kind of hard to make out, to me it appears to be a 1 moa dot "Tiny!"
Also discovered that I have a minor stigmatism now, so that of course might relate to my issue.
My girl shot it and with her "perfect vision" she could make constant bullseye hits out to 100 yards in short shorts lol! I would assume that use of a magnifier would negate this and make use of the reticle to its fullest potential.
106 degree desert brightness was doable at max setting "9" for illumination with standard cheapo Kirkland AA battery, so needless to say if ya used a top notch power cell it would be way bright.
So if ya dig eotechs and other RDS type sights then you will find this to be a normal option for you. I still prefer my 1P63 reticle to this version, so like anything in life it can be said to be Apples and oranges between users. It although does have the "cool tactical tony " look and appeal for its newness and scarcity right now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Russ....c100290.m3507

Vids of the gear that goes with it! In Russian so good luck! Shows Eotech style reticle though.
