The original US Palm grips were made by Tango Down, so I wouldn't be surprised if they just start making them again... At least they'd come with the rubber trap door like the originals.

Maybe Tango Down will continue production?

I got mine on sale at Dunhams a couple years ago for about half of what they have it listed for here.

Long ago before I had my awakening I tried several aftermarket PG's. I remember the US Palm was unique, I think the Izhmash PG is similar in the way it fits the hand.

Interesting now that US Palm PG's are not available everyone wants one. couple years ago I couldn't sell them New in package with rubber seal for $20. Now they go for $60?

I use polish bakelite pistol grips on all my AKs, they're a little bit fatter.

A lot of gun stuff is this way, but the entire AK market in this country is a text book definition of "we want what we can't have". ANY gun that got banned or was no longer made goes up in value, often WAY up.

I have currently 3 different grips for my Wum-1, I have the TDi Arms UPG currently installed, got it from Rob Ski's store. The other is the Magpul MOE+ grip which is a great grip also, then the Hogue is on it's way which I had one on my NPAP but forgot to remove it before selling the rifle, which I don't care what other's have stated my NPAP was a nail driver. Great AK/AKM rifle.
Out of these three grips, I really like all 3, but I keep coming back to the Hogue grip.

US Palm going belly up doesn't change much. Magpul MOE, and the Bulgarian SAW grip are still tied for the #1 slot.

US Palm was a shit company that made shit products, and had shit customer service. They deserve to fail.
