Thanks for the video! It would be interesting to know just how many factories have been established in South America to make Small Arms, on patents and machinery from the original countries that produced the arms? Venezuela has an AK ammunition and AK Rifle manufacturing plant provided by Mother Russia. Imbel in Brazil has made the FAL for decades. I am sure there are others.
In my work I get to meet and speak with many people from South America. One lady from Columbia was very smart and aware of the politics in America and disgusted by the way that the Demokrat Party plays off racial groups against one another. She was headed back to Columbia, and mentioned that the Columbian Army has great Jungle Warfare schools and is a very competent military (It is largely also US trained.)
but she was surprised to learn that the core of the second UAE Militarty force is a core base of 2,000 Columbian soldiers with combat experience taken right out of the Columbian Army and made part of the UAE Army (Over all Military Leader is the former head of Australia's Armed Forces and further staffed by men and officers from the SAS, Argentina, Mexico, Peru and a few other SA countries. ) The Columbians were sent into Yemen to fight the Huthi - Mountain Fighters of Yemen, in late 2015.
Amazingly, even until this very moment in time, no one has delved in depth in the the crisis in Venezuela and how the Cubans were instrumental in bringing Marxist Socialism starting some ten years ago and more. The Cubans virtually took over the Venezuelan Army, and all of its political and Civil Service positions and infused Cuban military forces into Venezuelan Military and over 450,000 Marxist "Advisors" to infuse every arena of Venezuelan life with Cuban Style Communism / Marxism. (The Cubans did some thing similar in Angola starting in 1976 when they invtervened miitarily there and fought a very intense desert war against South Africa up to the early 1990's.) If it were deemed prudent I have no doubt that Cuba would inject their own military into Venezuela in force as they did in Angola. Could be an interesting Jungle War - Cuba and Venezuela against Columbia.............
Any way - the number of arms factories in South America is a general unknown - but very interesting as were those video. Thanks

Thank you very much for posting the video. Wonder if they will ever export a semi-auto version to the US?

Since they are made under licence from IWI that already sells to the US market, I would say the odds of that are ZERO.

Eh, you never know. We got FALs from Argentina when FN was still making them.

They are shipping the wrong product to the US

One might find that with the advent of a future Assault Rifle Ban that the smuggling of arms and ammo into the USA will flow, like Drugs presently do. There is a level of arms smuggling even now, mainly Ghost Guns from overseas with no serial numbers or fake numbers, although most smuggled guns presently are pistols.. A collapse in the world economy would bring in massive smuggling of arms. Real full auto arms from those plants in SA and else where. No reason for the Chinese or others to stop the flow of arms into SA and Mexico and then further into the USA in the event of draconian laws and or national collapse of our economy due to future unforeseen circumstances.
Where there is money to be made smuggling will take place. You WILL or WOULD see weapons smuggled in that are not remotely available now from all over the Earth, where ever fine weapons manufacturers and good clandestine shops produce them.
