Default Anyone bought a M&P Shield from PSA on sale w/rebate?

And haven't heard back on your rebate?

I called and was told to download and fill out the form and include the guns serial #, put in in an envelope and send it to the address I was told to send it to. I did that a few weeks ago.

I submitted my name and other info on their tracking device and got a
"There is no record of a claim with the information provided."

I know they are running way behind due to a huge number of submissions but
I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy over getting my rebate back.

Yesterday I received an email from s&w that basically said we're sorry for the delay on your rebate but it is coming.

On another forum someone called and they were told it is taking 6-8 weeks to get the rebate information entered and another 6-8 weeks to get the check mailed

Thanks for the info. I bought and submitted mine 6-8 weeks ago and haven't heard anything. I was beginning to get a little worried...

I got screwed out of $5 when I was a kid from Strawberries on a rebate for a cd holder... ever since I'm paranoid lol.

Bought mine at PSA here in Greenville about 3 weeks ago and did the form the next day, got the email this week like the others saying they are running behind and it would be late July.

Did y'all download the form, fill it out with the gun's serial # and send it snail mail in an envelope like me?

Thats what the woman on the phone told me to do.

I received this email a few days ago.

Dear Valued Smith & Wesson Customer,

Thank you for your recent purchase and on behalf of Smith & Wesson firearms, I would like to personally apologize for the delay you have experienced in receiving your rebate on this purchase. Typically we are able to process rebates within a few weeks of receipt, and our recent performance does not meet our standard.

The “Savings You Can Carry” program has been very popular, and the tremendous response we received temporarily overwhelmed our systems. I have personally overseen our correction of the situation, and am committing to you that if you submitted your rebate in the month of April, your rebate submission will be processed no later than July 7, 2017. If you submitted your rebate in the month of May, your rebate submission will be processed no later than July 31, 2017.

Nothing is more important to us than your loyalty. Please accept our sincerest apologies and our appreciation for your patience, as well as your dedication to the products we are so proud to deliver.

Regards,

Matt Buckingham
President, Smith & Wesson Firearms

I double checked my spam filter and I received the email on 6-21-17

I filled out the form online, I'm not sure if it matters for a timeline if you mailed it in

I filled mine out online in April and so I'm hoping they actually mail out checks next month.

Quick update: The website shows my rebate shipped on June 29. Nothing received as of July 13. Two weeks in the mail?

The company doing these rebates for Smith & Wesson, over in New Jersey, cheated me out of mine.

I filled out the form and mailed them my form and PSA receipt and they mailed me back some lame-assed excuse that "we are not sure how much you really paid PSA for the pistol". What complete and utter bullshit.

SHAME ON YOU SMITH & WESSON FOR BEING AFFILIATED WITH THOSE DICKHEADS IN NEW JERSEY!

I received my rebate check and cashed it today. Seems like I bought the gun back in April or May.

Quick update: I called Milano today and was told that the 'shipped date' showing on the rebate site is the date the rebate check was printed. The very friendly CS rep seemed a bit unhappy that the site is showing it that way. She also said that many rebates showing that 6-29-17 'shipped date' were still going out today, 7-18-17.

Thanks for the update. I believe my rebate has the same "shipped date," and I have yet to see it, either.

I was concerned I might have accidentally thrown it away. I have learned that the rebate check comes in a small, nondescript envelope, and it is not in a standard format.

Thank you for sharing this information. I have the same 'shipped date' of 6/29 and haven't received it yet.

I have verified that it has a 6/29 "shipped date," and it arrived in the mail today. It's in a white, envelope addressed from "MPS, Inc.", and is roughly the size of a postcard. The check is in a very odd format.

I snail-mailed my rebate. Would I be on the website if I snail-mailed everything?

Yes, but only enter your zip code and last name.

I see you received your check, so I won't mess with it . I did see on my Rural King rebate card it said I ordered between April 2 an 17.

I checked and the website now says that my check was mailed (printed) on 7-14. I guess I'll get it in August....

Still nothing from my 7-29 ship date on 8-5. Getting pretty perturbed.

You should receive it about 3 weeks from your 'ship date'; which is really your print date... the first batches took that long and my 3 week was aug 4 so its been pretty consistent.

Get angry if you like but you should see it around the 21st.

My error. The ship date was 6-29, not 7-29. So by your estimate, it's already about 2 weeks late.

That's a little encouraging.
