Default RD arrival!!!

My RD703 came in last week and all I can say is.....whatever I "OVER PAYED"..was well worth it!
This rifle is absolutely magnificent!
Took it to the range one hour after arrival and put 1k through it without a hitch and the sights are spot on!!
The 703 compared to my Arsenal SAM7SF is like comparing a baseball bat to a pool cue.
Light and balanced......a real joy to hold!
It's feather light and sight acquisition is immediate!
The grip is aggressively stippled and extremely comfortable....if you like that sort of grip.
This is one beautiful gun.
The finish is a custom bronze.
Mr. Fuller will get my business again!
BTW.....I put in an ALG AK Trigger.............this just put it over the top!!!!
I hope the pics come through!

I'll not complain about how someone else spends their money. Their money, their business.
It definitely grabs your attention with that finish. I wouldn't want it on all my AK's but I could live with one. I doubt I'll ever handle or shoot one, but going from your description and the image on the case it really does have magic fairy dust on it.

Congrats and enjoy it.

RD is not all that popular around here for a good reason, but regardless of what anybody may say, you paid for it and enjoy it!

My mother, may God rest her soul, taught me that if I didn't have anything nice to say, to not say anything at all. This is me, not saying anything.

That said, your money, glad you enjoy it

For what it's worth... Congrats. I had a Rifle Dynamics AK that I traded away a couple years ago. It was pretty darned nice, but I wanted something else more at the time. Regardless of what others think, I hope you enjoy it. That is a fine rifle.

Left rear long rivet head looks funky to me.. maybe it's just the photo.. not sure about the color myself but hey, it's not my rifle.

Go out and shoot this shit out of it like any good rifle owner should!

I am really afraid to ask what you paid for that.......

However, aside from the fact it's a Fuller rifle, it's a very good looking rifle, EXCEPT for........

Front trunnion is scrubbed, any markings on the bolt / carrier. Take some pictures of the insides. Are they Polish kits? What kind of paper work does it come with.

I'm not going to lie, I would rock that rifle.

I think it looks tits. I just wouldn't pay for it....lol

BTW I looked and I think it's a Valkyrie
......norse mythology, but it's kinda funny because it DOES look like a fairy at first glance.

Theres a video somewhere, jim says its his sister that died or something along those lines. She is his "ak angel" or something.

I have no experience with the Fuller AK, the fit/finish look top notch. What I don't understand is having to replace the tuned trigger that comes with that rifle.

Was it that bad? I know what his rifles sell for and for that kind of money one should not have to replace/upgrade anything.

who would have guessed that a stamped rifle with a plastic stock and fs/bg combo would be lighter than a milled rifle with a metal stock and both a front sight and gas block?

It wins in the "bling" deptartment, but no side rail, and a non-adjustable front sight kind of suck IMO. Echo what's said above about the trigger, didn't think that would've been necessary but eh...

But at least it's lightweight and pretty tho...I bet it runs circles around a WASR

LOL

It better run circles around the WASR! I agree about the side rail, seems Fuller thinks the AK does not need magnified optics. (only accurate enough for a Red Dot) I like to have the option to run whatever type of optic I want on my AK's.

It's really amazing to me how negative so many of you are...especially regarding a fellow AK lover's new acquisition.
Why is that????
I'd be the first to congratulate and encourage a member to live with and experience his/her new rifle.
Is it jealousy?
Or just miserable lowlifes that can't say something nice about a fellow site members new rifle????
No matter........this is one of the finest AKs I've ever fired .
Everything about this rifle is MORE than I expected.
Thumbs UP to Jim Fuller!!!!!
As for the trigger.......I totally agree!
For the money......the finest trigger should have already been installed.
But my FINEST isn't the other guys FINEST.
That being said.....as I have it now.......This is an incredibly responsive and accurate rifle.

no, we just don't see the value in what you bought...

think of it like this

there's a car show with classic cars, modern cars, and everything in between. these are the WASRs, Arsenals, etc.

you just pulled up driving this with an $80,000 price tag in the window and you can't stop talking about how great it is

Your comparison is idiotic!
Be that as it may be.......this rifle is fantastic!
"no, we just don't see the value in what you bought..."
Your thoughts on "value" are irrelevant to me.
If you actually handled this rifle you might see the " value".
But you won't...and you'll just post negative BS about a weapon you've never shot or handled.
But again........the bottom line is......I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS RIFLE!!!
So I guess you can go try and impregnate yourself........RD makes a fine product!

I wouldn't buy an RD rifle, I wouldn't paint it gold, and I wouldn't use a front sight that requires a file to adjust.

The best part about this thread is I didn't do any of the above.

OP! It's your rifle and your money, so if you dig it, cool.

P.S. I like the stippling on the pistol grip.
