Default Non-American Saiga

Does anyone know if the MK 223 as advertised on the Kalashnikov Concern site has the bullet guide fitted?

I'm gonna go with "probably not".

FYI: The factory produces Saiga-specific 30-round magazines ( with built-in feed ramp ).

We just c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ couldn't get them with the guns due to the stupid import laws we have.

That's a shame, long Izhmash Saiga 10/30 round mags are expensive hereabouts. We have to order them from Germany.

p.s. I asked because I have the rifle on order and the dealer wasn't sure.

there are no dimples on the receiver of those civilian variants so it would be a no-go for me.

So, no RPK variants for you, then?

If legal there, it is very easy to install a bullet guide and fit standard 30 round magazines. Members here have even made their own bullet guides from pieces or metal or metal pipe.

Dimples do make a girl look nice but it's just 2 points out of a 100..

Yes.

But it does come with dimples (The interwebs call it the M3) and if this photo is not a fair representation of what is being sold, the seller can be taken to court.

Do the dimples change anything?

I thought the M3 with its 'military' receiver was a version of the MK 223 sporting rifle and the internals were the same.

The dimples are to help stiffen and strengthen the receiver.

They also look more like the military rifles.

Saiga's are still made both with and without the dimples.

Dimples are there to help stiffen and strengthen the receiver (not to mention it's how the mil spec rifles are set up). It's not just cosmetic..
