However, I am thinking about paring down the herd and using that cash to get a SCAR.

But I just watched a vid yesterday where the guy was a massive SCAR Heavy fan, but then quite nonchalantly listed at least $1,000-$1,500 in modifications to the gun that he felt were necessary. To be fair it did seem like the end all be all. (Youtuber Doomsday Brothers).

But I just could not get over ALL the freaking mods and cash he had dropped. (Trigger, receiver, stock, hand guard, something w the front sight, mag well or maybe that was part of receiver and on and on.)

So this one may have to stay in fantasy land for awhile.

Plus that CZ Bren is again raising its voice at me

Got to have something WW2 era. My vote is for the M1 Garand. Seems every time I take mine to the range everyone is interested in them. Can't beat semi auto 30-06 and the "ping" at the end when you are empty.

M1 carbines, 03A3's and M38, M44 fireball throwing Mosin's are fun too.

The "ping" is super cool, lol.

Never get tired of it.

Drop $250 for a hi point carbine. They are accurate, and fun. The only drawback is the ten round mag runs out too fast.

Redball now makes 20Rd mags for the 9mm and I *think* either is or will be making them for the .45 ACP as well. I kind of want one in .45 ACP, but storage room is becoming an issue lol
