How do you tell which line (freedom, etc.) you are looking at on PSA stuff?

I have this upper, that i haven't used yet. I'm not sure which line it is.

Don't fuck with it. keep it lubed and shoot it. it will smooth out. And if for some reason it doesn't ever get glass smooth, who cares if it runs?

The AK47 is a cheap POS designed to be assembled in third world shitholes by a labor force composed of knuckle dragging, booger eating morons. It was then to be handed out to an army of uneducated peasant retards who couldn't find their own ass with both hands and a map. Thats the true genius of the design and why it remains ubiquitous to this day.

Freedom series/edition is phosphate. You got the better barrel. Nitride is better.

Wrong and right. They sell freedom kits with nitride and stainless steel barrels, too. But yeah, I'd go with either one of those over phosphate ones.

Agree with Bubba. I just sighted in my new rifle with a 18in PSA FN heavy barreled upper and $69 PSA Blem BCG. The BCG was extremely tight but loosed up after a few rounds. I was experiencing FTEs and I added more lube and after about 50 rnds it functioned flawlessly.

I've got a nitrided PSA bolt and a phosphate bolt, both PSA Freedom, MPI, carpenter steel. Both have worked well. Was a little tight on the phosphate, lubed, put several hundred rounds through it, works like a charm.
