Default Does this center rivet look ok on this 100% receiver?

This is the first receiver I've bought and I'm fairly new to AK's. Does this center support rivet look like it's not completely formed or am I being nit picky? This is a 100% receiver purchased recently and I'm wondering if I should contact the company that made it ask that they fix it. Thanks

Yep you are correct. I did the exact same thing on mine. Did not take that much more to form it. I knew I had it when I felt the receiver just start to give a tad and I stopped. Go really slow so you can feel it.

Thanks for the reply but this isn't my work, this is a complete 100% receiver that I purchased.

For the LH side of the receiver, that is acceptable in the AK realm.
If I built it, it would be dead nuts tight, but there you have it.
what you have will work just fine.

I wouldn't be to crazy about its looks if it were mine on a store bought unit
(btw who's store bought unit is that?)

But if it's tight then it's ~ok~

I prefer a dome shaped rivet on the left, even ok if it's smaller
-but just oddly shaped for no reason, me no like..

If you don't like it put the receiver on an anvil and pound the rivet head flat with a ball peen hammer. Looks don't matter on the center support rivet.

For a center support looks pretty good to me.

If your going to press the head more, make sure you support the receiver from the inside with something. I use an adjustable parallel to make sure I do not bend the receiver.

Thanks for the responses, I think I'll just let it be I don't want to try and "fix" it and ruin my receiver.

If its tight leave it alone but you can lightly shape it with jeweler's file set to make it look rounder, then cold blue the filed areas before painting.. Nobody would ever notice either way but you.
