and the scope cut is half the cost of machining the ORF/AWO into spec.- usually.
keep waiting on those prices from yesteryear- never worked out for me but I wish you luck.

As far as I know AWO Galil receivers are Todd Grove receivers and Todd Grove has been gone for many years (RIP).

AWO bought the remaining inventory of OHio Rapid Fire (Very Very large amount) and have went through them the best they could by heat treating and re-stamping them AWO...So I dont see those prices coming down ever especially as inventory closes in.

Agree, if you want it cut go to Jeff

CNC warrior in anti-ca, so thats a no-go also... while I could middleman it... thats $$$

Maybe the new Tortort option will bring down AWO prices back to where they once were? Or maybe they decide to do more finishing work to thier receiver, to stay relavent with the new competition. Ive got several projects in the works, so not in a hurry anyway. I guess we’ll see how it all shakes out...
I wish too, I remember them hitting $50 and they couldnt throw them at people. There was no kits on the market like there is today.....I remember ARM gas blocks bring 200 to 300 each....Now About $100

no- it's not rocket surgery but it is setup, machine and inspection work that takes time and you'll need some equipment that most folks don't have sitting around unless you are in certain frozen states and have nothing better to do-back at 'ya Cuz.

I've built a few ORF's and they run great.
and I've seen some that no amount of work will fix.

AWO is good about replacing any problem ones and are great folks to deal with in my experience.
but, I seriously doubt the price will drop as long as there are kits around- why would it?

yeah, I hope the bar is well stocked wherever Todd is.

CNC-Warrior (Fanboy ) is currently running another batch of 5.56 Galil receivers, for those who may like that sort of thing.

Ha! Ha!
Yes Brother, that was for you!
Love your Wow - Joker, and I get that too!
Yours really is much funnier though.

Yes, Tortort, I'm told they are both equally excellent!!!
Thank God, we have THREE fine choices now.
(Did ya' like that? - THREEEEEE)

Now, I've gotta figure out how to do those cool faces!

As well as my CNCW receivers have done for me from here on out I'll probably go Tortort. Nice they come with lightening cut, 100$ cheaper, and Im hoping won't have the rail issues like the last CNCW batch (carrier pops out unless running a recoil buffer)

However options are great. Now if only 308 AR/ARM kits would show up state side as I really want to build a 308 SAR

TortTort receivers are only second to my rewelds.......HAHA just kidding....

I can tell you the Tort Receivers are dam close to IMI. I also think Ben is a awesome guy....

Yeah Threee choices.....

-TortTort
-AWO
-Reweld

You can keep the CNC warrior stuff. Why would I pay more for less? Plus I dont like the owner, Id rather buy a Golani

Options are great....A 308 SAR wouldnt be too hard to pull off I think.

Didnt you build a 308 w/ a 16 inch barrel and SAR gas system? Thats what I was thinking. Theres a pic on the net floating out there with ones setup that way
