It's called General Rifle Discussion for a reason. There's an AK-47 sub-forum for your interests. You don't need to hang out here.

We need to make a Queer Poodle Picture thread also, since it relates to ARs.

I have a couple, all "custom" assemblies.
5.56 Varmint rifle, for some reason every time it leaves the safe someone wants to buy it. 24" stainless full floated bull barrel, SSA lower, Spikes LPK with modded trigger, 9x20 scope dont recall make and I just put it back in the back of the safe again, can put your eye on the scope and dump 30 rounds into the same hole all day long with this puppy.
5.45 mid-length SSA lower sequential to above rifle, melonited mid-length ballistic advantage? barrel IIRC, Aero upper receiver, sweet and simple, usually what host the sear as ammo is cheaper
5.56 currently hosting our DIAS Aero precision lower, DTI upper... Shoots well.
Havent gotten my aim point PROs for the bottom 2 yet.

Some very well appointed ARs here, so far.

It's unfortunate to see the insecure individuals spout off around here whenever ARs are mentioned. As snooty and elitist as many of the ARF.com mob is, they at least have a dedicated AK sub-forum over there. To me, that shows maturity and open-mindedness for other well regarded firearms.

Keep posting up those AR pics, folks. It's ok.. y'all can pull your ARs out of hiding and show them off.

A crummy pic of my SIG 516 at the local range:

Nice ARMT Guy, that table looks about like my deck.
A Colt, basically stock.
Not gonna post the AR-7.

As long as your deck doesn't have random bullet holes in it, you deck is in much shape.

I've always got love for a Prancin' Pony. Looks great!

Nice!

I had a Ruger SR556 along with the 516, but it didn't feel as well balanced as the 516 does, so I sold it to a good friend who had the hots for one.

Ok.. I gotta ask.

The side sling mount, I can understand.

But why the 203 leaf sight?

I am actually working on a funny project I will post when I get it done. It’s just a total crapper AR15 I am building. I had a built poly lower lying around I got for dirt cheap right before last year’s big scare and I got an upper with a bcg from psa for dirt cheap. I am going to tacticool the thing out with the crappiest stuff I can find; I already have a cheapo red dot, and a junk lazer sight, I am thinking some crap UTG quad rail, and the cheapest weapons light I can find. I am open to any other ideas. From 20 yards away it will look like a sweet battle rifle but if you look close you will see a turd wrapped in turds. It’s going to be great.

ARM 180,

Got one too.... That's the gun that should have started it right for America... The dumb luck of the AR began then..... ARM 180 lost to BS politics and we lost by getting the AR... Ball and chain since....

I guess as long as is clean, it'll be ok to shoot...
