Default ALG QMS any good?

Thinking about buying one but would like to know y'all's experience.

I want a mil spec to put in my Delton, it has an ok trigger but just doesn't feel right.

I have one and feel it's well worth the money. I also have Geissle SSAs in a few rifles. Obviously they are nicer / smoother, but for the money the QMS trigger is hard to beat!

I want a mil spec because I am going into the air force soon and want to get used to what I might use depending on my job.

Also coming from alg they have a great reputation from everything I've read/seen/have.

If you want to get used to a mil spec, don't get an ALG. Just get a shitty run of the mill trigger from any vendor and throw in it.

Learning to shoot good with a crappy trigger will help you in the long run.

I have both the QMS and ACT. The ACT is a hair smoother due to the polishing.
Both are worth the $50 to 60 bucks. I would get a set of JP lightened springs. Those springs will decrease your pull weight. If you are looking for that vs a heavier trigger.

Very nice triggers. Pws use to put them in their rifles. I ended up putting them in all of mine.

I want something that feels broken in because that's what I'll probably be given.

I've run a QMS for about two years now, usually for an inexpensive GI single stage trigger I'd grab a PSA EPT trigger kit when they're on sale for $30. Good for the money but for one of my lowers PSA EPTs were out of stock but they had the QMS for $45. It's a better trigger, although I have no complaints with the EPTs either. I'm OK with a little break-in on a budget trigger. A little trigger grease can go a long way to help on break-in too.

There are a few good budget two stages around $100 so I can't see paying more than $50 for a single stage GI.
