Default PSLs incoming?

All I know is what you can see in the pics. They just popped up on just these distrbutors for me. If anyone else has any more info please share. If not allowed for any reason please remove. I run a small gun shop and just thought I'd share these finds. Hadn't heard of PSLs ever returning.

Depending on price, I wouldn't mind having another one of these.

Only the one lists MSRP at $2295 so street price would hopefully be quite a bit lower.

"Availability: 0 units"

It's called "search engine optimization", OP.

The more content you have on your website, the better chance you get clicked on from a search engine. Doesn't make a flip whether the content is valid or not . . .

This is why - for example - distributors load up "Glock 372 Super-Nine-Millimeter" sale pages when such a new pistol is announced at SHOT show, even though it's not expected to ship for two years.

I think you're stirring up the boys for no good reason . . . .

Was never listed before, RSR is pretty good at not listing stuff until it's on it's way or not far out. Conveniently can't get a hold of my sales rep to ask about it now either. As soon as I get any details from him I will pass them along. Believe me, I would't try and stir up anyone without being confident in it first.

Lipsey's is pretty guilty of being super SEO friendly though so I'll give you that one.

***Edit: Just got of the phone with one. They just listed them and he's been getting called all day on it. He said the only order details he had is that they had 20 on order with Century.

This makes me cry that I didn't pull the trigger on one when they were $699.

If I still had my PSL and someone offered me $2k for it I'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

Folks there is a small shipment inbound but the price was a tad bit high so we passed on the deal. I can confirm that it was a small run and yes you are looking @ 2K or higher.

I bought mine PSL for $450, and sold it for over $1600 (with multiple mags, scope, etc). Not sad I broomed it one bit, since it helped fund my SVD.

Yeah...$2K+ is a bit high. Other (IMO) better options in that ballpark, for what a PSL is and does. Perhaps for the collectors, but not for the pragmatic types like me.

Romanians are still producing psl , but they got fakking smart and want a truck load of cash for a pos rifle!

For 2k you can get 3 Tikkas !

Incomparable quality!

In the romanian army i was teaching aim technics and testing aim consistency on shooters,
out of 20 psl's maybee one was worth keeping!

I sold my PSL a few years back for $1800. Never looked back. I think I paid like $589 for it new.

Even with 7N1, it wasn't a great rifle accuracy wise, especially after it warmed up...which didn't take long at all.

Neat guns, but not $2K neat IMO.

I had a few over the years, didn't keep any of them. I think I VEPR might neat, but haven't really looked very hard into them.

Wow, 2k or higher. I guess that means they will be close to or higher than 3k on the auction sites once they are released and sold out. Right now on Gunbroker they are anywhere from 1400 to 2499, mags going for 125 a piece and spare parts have gotten out of hand also.

Last full kit I saw with original barrel went for 1025, it did have some mags and an 80% receiver, but that is still pricey, real pricey. There is another original barrel kit with nothing extra for 1499 right now, just a parts kit.

2k or higher, ouch.

Always regretted selling mine, but regret selling anything really.

It did fund an M76 though, and then I regret selling that.

However, that funded a Type 1, which I won't be selling.

I know you guys said you were passing on this deal, but did century give any details about the accessories these would include? Mainly mags I’m most concerned about.

Well I can just imagine if the rifles are 2K+ the mags will be $100+....

If there are any.

I agree they aren't the most accurate, but they sure are fun to blast away with at the range, and my PSL always seems to get more inquiries as to what the hell it is, than any other rifle I have.

I`m waiting to see the "US PSL", you all know Century is thinking about it. Only way you`ll see one for sub-$1000!

+1

Most of the AR types would always walkup and say what a nice SKS, same people would do the same thing with my M76. Most shooters at that range never had a clue.

As for a PSL @ 2K hell no not for me, sold the one I had for $1400.00 five years ago. I guess my only regret is I should have held onto it longer.

Picked one up a while back, would not be paying $2k for one. Its a fun rifle, just not at that asking price.

Felt the price was high when I got mine but, did come with a sling, scope cover, mag pouch and 6 mags...

AKs and RPK s where much better, even though most were old russian from the '60s, romania sold all new production to the 3rd world to pay off their debt.
Only "militia"/police and presidential guard had new shiny romy AKs.

AG7 and AG9 ( RPG7 and RPG9) used all russian made projectiles.
Very accurate and deadly, blow up a T50 instantly.
Only get to fire once, they were expensive,
For the AG7 we had an insert that fired a 7.62x39 cartrige, that was used for practice

If the pricing I’m getting is to be believed street price might top the 2k mark after sales tax depending on where you are. I honestly feel from the pricing and small stock they’re gonna market them more as collectible than anything anyway.

Either that or they can mark them down to $1600-1750 and make some buyers think they are getting a deal.

Hmmm... so going for about $2K+ each eh? Got 8 more so may have to shed a few from the collection.
