Saw a demonstration for these the other day on facebook and they have me a bit curious, plus the glock mag adapter free is a great bonus.

Must resist.

Thus far we have enjoyed the pistol , It has the ergonomics of brick but it is fun to shoot and affordably priced .The pic below shows it outfitted with the Glock mag adapter, Optic and Pistol brace .

How does the mag drop, also with a krebs safety I don't see it being that bad. Also seems to have zero recoil. Also will it handle +P+ ammo and what kinds of bullets have you guys tested it with?

Alright I'm pledging it now. If I get money back when I do taxes, one of these sill be mine. I doubt I'll get anything back but yeah I still pledge it haha.

Maybe....and I mean maybe, if one can get rid of that dumbass looking plastic shit....and get a real handguard in there.

The price is more attractive than the pistol. That being said, I kinda want one. I agree with Mandy, is the handguard proprietary to the gun or will it accept standard AK handguards(with or without minor fitment)?

...A Glock adapter, a bunch of happy sticks, a Primary Arms microdot and one of these...

...would make for one sweet package. My M92 PAP really needs a little brother...

Yeah they are ugly and Ergonomics of a brick BUT ....they are pretty cool and very reasonably priced. The ability to take Glock or Beretta mags is bonus since Glock style mags are cheap N plentiful.

From the reviews I have read the magwell is integrated into the handguard.

Yeah, I did some more reading and watched some YT vids on them. It's like they let a 10yr old design the handguard, fugly! Still debating on purchase...

Well that's a shame. With a little work, it could look pretty decent.

Tempted to get one and see what can be done, if for nothing but kicks.

If they get popular enough, i'm sure someone will start making all sorts of aftermarket handguards festooned with rails and keyslots.

I'm not too picky, a standard shaped AKM HG with magwell attached isn't asking for too much. A 74 HG would be fine too but damn the HG it comes with is hideous! The f'ing thing already has too many rails to begin with LOL!

I'm sitting here with my CC in hand, debating on purchasing, maybe I'll have another shot of whiskey while I think about it... it's hard passing up a 9mm AK at this price even if it's fugly. I guess we've all been waiting for too long.

Edit: My buddy Jim Beam just talked me into putting one on layaway, he's a bad influence.

Atlanic you guys crack me up. Saying the glock adapter is free,

When all you did was raise the price of the pak-9 to include it.

I do beleive the msrp was around $425 and ive seen them listed for less.

$489 is not a deal on this even if shipping was thrown in.

Why can't someone make a nice 9mm carbine that doesn't look like an ugly abomination, and doesn't cost a fortune!

Yeah, wouldn't call that trolling--he's providing information that potential buyers may want to take into account prior to making a purchase. He just chose to do it in a less tactful fashion than HOG76 deemed appropriate lol

I've handled one. The biggest gripe I have with it is the mag release set-up. IF you are an AK guy and you go to release the magazine as you would on any OTHER AK, the bottom end of the gun drops off, because the magazine release is on the side of the lower panel that latches in with the standard AK magazine release button. They should have found a better way to work out that detail, IMHO.

Why is it that Atlantic gets a free pass from everyone when the over charge and price gouge? Pistols MSRP is $399 but Atlantic has them for $489! Oh well what ever at least you get a free Glock mag conversation for over paying $89. Remember when their wasrs went from $499 to $629 for no reason? Oh ya you better pay the QC up grade or they will punish you and send you a shit gun with bad sight alignment.

Blaine,

They look cool... Like Murphy said, if it looks stupid but works, it ain't stupid.... Good truck gun, fit anywhere! I happen to be well stocked in 33rd Glock mags...

Atlantic is a reputable company... You get a quality product AND outstanding CS. You get what you pay for nowadays... Be as I'll mannered as you like, we're all bunch of cretans here. But they're a tip top company or they'd be outta business and NOT on these files if they weren't.... Period!

As one who has talked endless... <--- endless amounts of shit on all PCC's...

I recently thought about *sigh* maybe doing something like an m/11 or something purely for nonsense purposes. The first thing on the radar is of course the Evo. It looks like a plastic brick. But they run.

I stumbled on this a few days ago, and with it being AK based, I was considering just doing the PAK 9. Parts and general stuff would be no sweat. Then... I saw the most awful YT diagnosis on one that must have been a vodka special that really made me pump my brakes. Everyone said the mags they come with are trash. Many had firing pins falling out because the retaining pin was either missing or not peened. The worst required the BC being drilled out to reduce mass, the magwell moved and pinned etc. The rails were falling off in another video.

Most of that stuff wouldn't be a really big deal. But the handguard holds the magwell in place. So either it has to stay, or you would have to fabricate some kind of retaining plate for it, and the HG to switch it.

I don't know if the Glock mag guns run any better, but I didn't see anyone professing their undying love for the gun using the Beretta mags. And I watched a lot of videos.

Some of the searches were showing people getting these around $350. At $350, I can look at it like a parts kit even if it didn't run at all. It looks like there aren't many left all over now and Atlantic's $489 at least comes with the Glock adapter.

Anyone have one and an opinion?
