My son rewired the power lead to the subwoofer,so it's back workin..I KNEW somethin was missin

Some Van Morrison on the back deck CD player, along with Doobie Bros,Eagles, Cream as well

I can see myself playin bass or fife/flute on some of Morrison's Irish tunes..like CPO Ted said...

Sadly..I never even heard of most of the other bands you guys have listed..my loss probably

:: There's a new retro-rock station in Houston, and I hooked up an old stereo/subwoofer (15" Kicker square Solobaric) in my garage for tunes this summer, and they have that song in rotation, so it's stuck in my head.

They play "China Road" by the Doobie Brothers too. Clapton's "Cocaine" (although I like JJ Cale's version too) gets played, and I heard "Layla" yesterday.

Today so far, Beatles Anthology 2, Disc 2. Not the same old versions played on classic rock radio. Funny thing about our classic rock stations here, they won't play new material by classic artists. And what they will play is limited to just a few tunes from each band.

Kinks

they always sound better on vinyl, listening to a burned mix of a few albums now.

It has to end with Lola then Destroyer. If you know the lyrics it's even creepier when they get played back to back.

Primus- Golden Boy

I'm shocked to see how much AC/DC fans we have here, I'm 21 and I was burned out on their songs when I was 15. They need to be put in a box for 5 years, then let out for enjoyment.

Would you be burned out on all their songs, or just the few that get radio play? Here in H town our two classic rock stations only play a handfull of songs from most artists. Back in the late eighties one classic rock station (now defunct) told me AC/DC wasn't classic rock.

Primus. Yeah, cool. The Burger King guy must be from the same people that did their early videos. My Name is Mud. Wynona's Big Brown Beaver...
