Default How much is a Romanian PSL 54C worth with matching mags?

I'm debating selling my PSL-54C. It has the scope and two serilized matching mags to the gun. One 10 rounder and one 5 rounder. The gun is in overall excellent condition and was barely fired. The flash hider is pinned on and the ears are shaved off the bayonet lug.

Thanks!

Anyone have an opinion on how much it's worth?

There are a few factors that play in to the price point. People seem to like the Romanian receiver version with matching numbers. Those tend to run $1500-1800 these days. Even the Century versions on the NDS receivers still go from $1200-1500. Hope that helps.

I do not believe the matching magazines will add that much value.
That said if you want maximum value. Put it on gunbroker with good pictures and description. Remember you can NEVER have too many pictures.

I'd suggest putting them auction up for 7 days, penny no reserve. List it on a Monday or Tuesday night around 7pm.

Penny No reserves worry people but with a PSL I highly doubt you'll sell it for anything below $1300.

Good luck.

$1300 is realistic to expect for the rifle unless you sell on Gunbroker as mentioned above.
Listed at $1100 it would sell in a day.

Don’t sell it.
You’ll regret it.

I love seeing this... Mine has R prefix serial from 2000. Is anyone tracking serials?

I gave mine to my brother a couple months ago . All original #matching with all of the accessories and 11 mags. Figured he should keep her warm for me till i move out west next summer. That PSL is one of my bucket list guns and i miss her already. i started gathering parts for one for him as i figure that is the only way to get mine back.

Is the scope correct for the linked rifle? Isnít it set up with an AK height mount not the proper SVD/PSL height mount?

Iím a bit outside my area of experience so I might be mistaken.

I sold mine a couple of years ago for $1600.00 , It had a POSP 8x42 Belarus made scope and 6 magazines along with a blackhorse adjustable SVD stock, all included on the deal .
I sold it to complete the purchase of a .308 Scar 17S .
A few months later , I filled up the vacuum left by my PSL with the purchase of a 54r 16"barrel Vepr from Legion USA (the very last one in stock and from then on , impossible to find anymore in 54r caliber with 16" barrel anywhere ... ) which is many , many times a better gun than the PSL on all aspects , starting with the accuracy.
Now that Cesspecs has steel 10 rd 54r magazines for it , I am very happy that I got this rifle .

i am no fan of PSLs, but unless you absolutely need cash now - i would not sell it. No longer made, no longer imported, the price will only go up on them. I remember the gunshows were packed with them for 499$ all day long, and all the sudden POOF. they are gone.

How much are mags going for now? I saw 2 sell for over $100 for the pair which is crazy. Congrats to the seller though.

Unless you are a collector and have one for collector`s sake , I would not want to buy a PSL at the current high prices .
I bought mine because at the time , it was selling for $425.00 with 4 magazines , so I bought one .
The PSL has a very rough construction and it is "somehow" accurate on the first 5 rds ... after that , the thin long barrel start sprinting up and down and the accuracy goes away .
It is also a heavy weapon but uses only light ammo (147 to 149 gr ammo ) if you try something heavier , the receiver will give and it would explode on your face .
It is a crappy weapon , worth up to $500.00 because it is a semi automatic rifle loaded with a magazine type , but no more than that realistically .
The Vepr 54r that I bought after I sold the PSL is on another league entirely not just on accuracy but in everything .

oh i agree with everything you said, in fact we have a thread right below it discussing the PSL and its accuracy potential. My point was not to sell the PSL because the value of it will only increase over time.
