Default Brugger & Thomet USA GHM9 Pistol

Here are some pictures of the New Brugger & Thomet GHM9 Pistol . This is a could be cost effective alternative to the MP5 series for those looking for a quality imported 9mm . What do you think ?

Seems like a quality piece. With a chf barrel, and B&T typical attention to detail.. it should be a real hit. Thanks for sharing. Any idea of availability and price of spare mags?

I have one and they are very nice. Mags are $50 each and up.
You can't go wrong dealing with Atlantic and B&T customer service is outstanding.

Those things are pretty interesting to say the least. I heard their other model is a great alternative to a UMP45. Every time I read something about HK stuff B&T pops up.

pistol caliber carbines/ submachine guns are still good. Even in semi auto. Just ask the British SAS.

Pretty cool. Hopefully the mag prices come down, I will be watching. I buy at least 10 mags for every gun I own, so the difference between $25 mags and $50 mags adds up quick.

Very good point. I am willing to bet that B&T makes more and more innovative things. Supposedly B&T is supreme quality. The NFL of the NFL of quality.

I can't say enough good things about my B&T P26. This new model took the role of the P26 as their "budget" entry-level firearm. With only 400 P26's imported, and already dried up, I would highly recommend snagging one of these.

This would be a perfect host for my Omega 9k. To me it looks as nice as their APC9 or KH9. I was not too found of the looks of the P26 (kind of looked plasticy). This one looks like it has an aluminum upper?

Pretty cool. A rifle variant would probably be a hit with the PCC crowd of competitors.

They have the APC556/223 variant btw.

I've been eye fucking the APC9 for a couple of weeks and now I see the GHM9, quit playing games with my bank account.

Still deciding on either the evo, mpx or the two above.

For the money the GHM9 Pistol is the way to go , We were really impressed with this gun and cost much less than the B&T APC or the Roller locks.

Do you have an ETA for more brace adapters coming into stock?

Is this the gen 2 version that reliably cycles hollow points? Tim from MAC recently did a video in which his GHM9 cycled everything reliable whereas TFBTV showed a GHM9 that only ran FMJs. Is this the updated version? Thanks.

Watched the MAC video. Current production will cycle anything you can throw at it just about. Older ones have difficulty with hollow points/soft points, but if you contact B&T USA, they'll give you info on how to send in your gun to be fitted with updated parts, apparently under warranty.

Not under warranty, but for $50 according to a post on the Facebook group, where B&T USA posts.

"No actual knowledge or what the fix is, just that I would need to call B&T with my serial and it was a $50 fix.... but that was as much info as was given to me"

$50 doesn't seem to be that bad when you consider that the gun has a MRSP of almost $1300.

Wish there were more details on what the repairs would have to be to make it reliably feed HP/SP ammo.

Based on the cost, I imagine they leave the barrel alone and swap out the separate feed ramp.

Here's mine, bought before any mention of a fix. I haven't shot it yet so I don't know how it does with hollow points. I do want to be able to run all types of ammo, so I'll be investigating this topic.

So did you find out anything regarding the serial number for gen 2's, or a gen 1 vs gen 2 feed ramp pic??

Some info: B&T USA charges $50 to update the feed ramp. I believe that includes return shipping, and only the upper needs to be sent in. The lower is the firearm.

Yeah, but I really can't find out if I have a gen 1 or 2 lol. I bought a new one a few days ago, but the serial number starts with 16. There is very little info out there. Other than going to the range, is there a serial number break? The B&T website is of no use either.

I emailed B&T and asked questions. First off all, their customer service is awesome. Had a rep call me within 20 minutes. He explained every question I had in detail, even told me where I could find a telescopic stock lol. He said they don't really consider the Ghm9 as a gen 1 or 2. Its a name the customers and aftermarket gave it after the machining for the hollow point issues was done. The original had a 45 degree face on the feed ramp where as the revised version has more of an agressive cone shape. I will check mine when I get home to see which one I have.
