Default My Mossberg 12 gauge Shockwave

My first pump shotgun.. Added a Velcro shell holder and a Streamlight TLR4 light/laser combo. The laser should make hip firing a piece of cake. Just needs a bayonet and I should be done.Hopefully I'll get to test it out this weekend.

Looks nice. Do you plan to use a sling? If so, which one?

I'm trying to find a decent sling for these.

I love the Shockwave! I'd love it even more if they make one in .410!

My Shockwave lives on hooks between my mattress and boxspring.
It's the Doorbell from Hell - LOL!

Have you had a chance to test the 20 side by side with the 12 in regards to recoil?

IMHO the Shockwave's birdshead grip completely mitigates recoil.
Ran low recoil vs full power 00 Buck through mine and couldn't tell the difference.
The 12 gauge Shockwave is a pussycat.
With all the great ammo available in 12 gauge.
I've got no interest in a 20.
BTW they are virtually the same size and weight.

The 20ga may be more manageable for smaller women/teens.

...now it's something completely different!

When I added the vertical grip on my Tac 14 it became a lot more fun (and accurate) to shoot.

Nice set up Arn. This is exactly what I want to do. Perfection would be getting ghost ring sights on welded on, but that's a bit pricey. A red dot would do nicely also on the Mossberg

I've both and the 20 has considerably less recoil.

My 12 Gauge Shockwave is a total pussycat.
Can't possibly get anymore manageable for me...
I get that some folks could benefit from a 20 gauge or even a .410.
But I'm not part of that group
